CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Ø Any large - scale development is accounted by civil
constructions like buildings, roads, bridges, railways,
public health works and industrial sheds
Ø Scope – When manpower, materials, finance and
machinery are properly organized and integrated, the
construction business will be successful
Ø IMP: Construction Management involves knowledge of
organizational setup, planning through PERT and CPM,
knowledge of contract systems, execution of works and
accounting procedures
Ø The art of construction has become a science
Ø In India, Construction business contribute to 10 to 20%
GNI(Gross net income).
