AIESEC OVERVIEW
As the worlds largest student-driven organization, AIESEC creates an international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential in order to make a positive impact on their community. Present in 2,100 universities of 110 countries and territories, AIESEC has provided a worldwide and diverse network of learning and experiencing for its 60,000 members all over the globe. With 20,000 leadership roles ever offered and 470 conferences every year, AIESEC is really the ideal place for youth to enhance their leadership skills and broaden their knowledge, as well as contributing to the mutual understanding between nations and nations. Beside strong interrelation, AIESEC also build up a close cooperation with more than 4,000 organizations, from multinational to small business, non-profit to government and the UN. Thanks to these connections, AIESEC has brought about the internship opportunities to 16,000 students and recent graduates, practically enabling them to contribute to the development of a better world. Through the internship program, we attract and cultivate young people with global mindsets while giving organizations an opportunity to interact and access high quality young people from all corners of the globe.

The position of going exchange in AIESEC life cycle
GIP - Global Internship Program is the core activity in AIESEC circle of development. For more than 60 years, AIESEC has been the connector between talented business and technical students or recent graduates and entrepreneurs, governmental and non-governmental organization all over the world. We give these young ambitious people the chance to experience different culture life and apply their knowledge into reality. At the same time, our GIP has helped organizations seek for potential members and diversify their culture working environment. Generally, AIESEC offers students 4 types of internships: Management Traineeship (MT): internships related to administration, finance, accounting, marketing, project management and HR Development Traineeship (DT): usually with NGOs, internships usually relate to a wide variety of issues in community development. Technical Traineeship (TT): internships related to management and development in web, software, networks, and databases, plus some engineering. Education Traineeship (ET): internships related to promotion, curriculum development, teaching, and counseling in education sector.
GLOBAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM in AIESEC FTU HN
Types of internships: Due to the characteristics of its university as an institute in economics field, AIESEC FTU HN currently offers 2 types of internships: Management Traineeship (MT) Development Traineeship (DT)
With the new promising addition of FPT University, it is highly possible that AIESEC FTU HN will offer opportunities for Technical Traineeship (TT) in the near future. Achievements: 63 exchange participants were in their internship in 10 countries & territories: Japan & India (MT); Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, China, Poland, Ukraine (DT). 9 available exchange participants, who are in the process of matching for Internship. Recruitment Timeline: there are 2 main GIP Recruitments each year which are: Spring Recruitment (March) and Autumn Recruitment (September); and some other Pocket Recruitments when there is unexpected demand for exchange participants. Traineeship's duration: Management Traineeship (MT): 4 6 months Development Traineeship (DT): 6 8 weeks

Selection/Preparation: There are 3 Rounds of the GIP Recruitment: Application form Pre-interview Student review board. Support activities: AIESEC members from the host Local Committee provide support and assistance for participants in getting setup and opportunities for cultural and social activities. AIESEC members in sending Local Committee support the intern in making the readjustment process when he returns home. Administrative fee: MT: $ 250 DT: $ 150 (*) With exchange rate of US dollars of Vietcombank on the current date The fee will be made in 2 installments: 1st installment: 50 USD will be made within 7 days after the participant passes the review board 2nd installment: (the rest of the fee) will be made within 7days after the participant gets matched (*)The first installment is considered as deposit and, hence, is non-refundable (*)The second installment of the fee will not be refunded if participant cancels the internship once getting matched except for problems relating to his/her security or family security and participant can get approval from sending Local committee. Overall Criteria for Exchange Participants: Below 30 years old and graduated from university less than 2 years Culture sensitive Good team spirits Good command of English Flexibility regarding the location and duration of the Internship High motivation & positive outlook on life
