Subject: Lesser PCM percentage in 12th of a IMU, Kolkata campus applicant, Reg-

I
am directed to refer your email dated L8.LO.2O21 on the above subject and
inform you that the competent authority has allowed SC/ST candidates of IMU who have
availed of the 5%o relaxation on the minimum eligibility criteria of 600/o marks in PCM at
intermediate level to appear for the MEO Examinations subject to the following:-
1. The candidates have to pass MEO Class IV and Class II Part A Examinations
before they can appear for the respective Part B Examinations.
2. This relaxation is only available for those IMU candidates who have availed of
the relaxation on the basis of being from the SC/ST category'
3. An undertaking may be taken from the candidates that they will accept any
future adverse or otherwise decisions of the DGS in this matter if they are
informed of the sarne.
This is issued with the approval of the Chief Examiner of Engineers & Chief Surveyor
with the Govt. of India.
