A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR ACCREDITATION

OF DIMASALANG-M. DE JESUS NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION, INC., A
DULY ORGANIZED AND EXISTING PEOPLE'S ORGANIZATION (PO'S)
SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS, RULES & REGULATIONS ON THE
MATTER

WHEREAS, Chapter 4, Section 34 of the Local Government Code provides the

role of People's Organization and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) stating that
the Local Government Unit (LGU) shall promote the establishment and operation of
people's organization and non-governmental organization to become partners in the
pursuit of local autonomy;

WHEREAS, Rule XIII, Article 64 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of

the Local Government Code of 1991 provides for the procedures and guidelines for the
selection of representatives of people's organization, non-governmental organizations, or
the private sector in local special bodies;

WHEREAS, Memorandum Circular No. 2007-81 of the Department of the

Interior and Local Government and City Ordinance No. 4180, Series of2008 provides for
the guidelines on the accreditation and selection of people's organization, non­
governmental organization and the private sector who are duly organized and existing
and operating in the City ofPasay;

WHEREAS, after careful study and review by the Members of the Accreditation
Committee of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, the various documents supporting the
application for accreditation of Dimasalang-M. De Jesus Neighborhood Association, Inc.
shows that they have satisfactorily complied with all the requirements/criteria set forth by
the above-stated IRR and City Ordinance.

NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the

Sangguniang Panlungsod in session duly assembled, approving the application for
accreditation of Dimasalang-M. De Jesus Neighborhood Association, Inc., a duly
organized and existing People's Organization (PO'S) in the City of Pasay subject to all
applicable laws, rules & regulations on the matter.
