ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
A great deal of scientific research has been carried out involving issues relevant to the practice of
management. Evidence-Based Management means making decisions based on the best accessible facts, that
is, scientific findings and unbiased organizational facts. This is an emerging area in management which
the management decision-making process. This field of study has emerged from empiricism with the aim of
applying scientific methods to improve the managerial decision-making process. The aim of this conference
is to provide a platform to researchers, scholars, academicians and practitioners from different parts of the
conference will focus on various techniques and methodologies along with their application to provide some
instances of when evidence/s has been utilized for better managerial decision-making. Further, this
conference will also provide an opportunity to interact with some of the renowned experts in the domain of
management and practitioners from different parts of the world.
ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

been recognized as an institution deemed to be a university since 1964. The continuous effort of BITS Pilani to
impart the highest quality of technical and management education has been rewarded by the Government of
India recently when it achieved the status of Institution of Eminence. Over the years, BITS Pilani has provided
the highest quality of technical and management education to students from all over India, admitted on the
basis of merit. BITS Pilani is located in the Vidya Vihar campus adjacent to the town of Pilani in Rajasthan.
DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT
The Department of Management at BITS, Pilani was established in the year 1971. It initially offered a two-year
Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. In 1973, when the institute created an integrated
educational structure, MBA evolved into the integrated first-degree program MMS- Master of Management
Studies, which was a blend of engineering and management. The program was successfully offered for a time
period of three decades. Based on the industry demands, the course was restructured as MBA in the year
2006. Catering to the contemporary industry demands, BITS Pilani has introduced an MBA in Business
Analytics from the academic year 2021-22. The curriculum of this MBA in Business Analytics programme is an
optimum combination of core, electives and industrial component/research in the form of Practice
School/dissertation. The pedagogy followed in the courses emphasizes that at least 50% of the sessions are
devoted to cases/projects/simulations/laboratories / other experiential components. BITS Pilani is
consistently ranked within the top 30 overall among educational institutes in India as per NIRF. Management
education in BITS Pilani is ranked within the top 500 globally by QS (2021). The Outlook 2018 survey has
ranked the BITS Pilani MBA program among top 10 private B-Schools in India and the Week-Hansa 2016
survey among top 15 best private B-Schools in India.
All accepted papers will be published with reputed international publisher.
Publication opportunities for selected papers in special issues of reputed international Scopus/ABDC indexed journals.
