Abbreviations

R# – round/row number
mr – magic ring
Product size (plant+pot): ch – chain stitch
6" (height) sc – single crochet stitch
dc-cl – double crochet cluster stitch
Pot size: 2" (height), 2.5"
inc – increase (2 sc stitches in the same
(width) stitch)
dec – decrease ( 2 sc stitches together)
sl st – slip stitch
FLO – work on front loop only
BLO – work on back loop only

R1 6 sc in mr
R2(ch 3, 4 dc-cl, ch 3, sl st into the
next stitch) x 6, cut the yarn, pull the
yarn tail in front, then yarn over at the
back 1.5"

Sewing

Step 1: Sew the "x" detail on


cactus head parts using 3 ply
mercerized cotton yarn.
Step 2: Sew A part to B part.
Start from the second row of B
part.
Step 3: Sew or glue the flower.

joining head and soil

R1 29 sl st (counterclockwise) around
the front loop, sl st on first sl st = 30 sl
st
R2 ch 1, turn your work, 30 sc
(clockwise) around where you made
your sl st, cut the yarn, and make an
invisible join = 30 sc
