FLOWER
Make 2
Start with your ‘darker’ colour for the centre of the flower
1. Magic ring, ch 4 (this counts as the first st), (dc, ch) * 9 into the magic
ring, sl st into the 4th chain from the start [10]
Switch to the petal colour
2. (ch3, 1tc in ch1 space, next ch 1 space - 2 tc, next ch 1 sp - 1tc ch3, sl
st) * 5
Start of the next repeat should be in the same ch sp
Ch 1 spaces should have alternating (2 tc) and (1tc, ch3, sl st, ch3,
1 tc)
You can switch back to the centre colour here for a layered look or stick
to the same one
3. (ch3, 2sc in 1st, ch2, sl st on the 1st ch (picot), 2sc, ch 2, sl st on 1st ch
(picot), 2sc in next st, ch 3, sl st between petals in row below) * 5
the ch 3 gets you to the ‘top’ of the petal of the previous row. The
third row is worked at the top of the petal before the next ch 3
brings you down to sl st in between the petals

Fasten off, leave long tail on ONE of the flowers to sew together

tc in next, 2tc in next, tc in next, 2dc in next, hdc in next, sc in next and

Do NOT fasten off; put the two sides together (so the stitches line up) and
sl st each st together, working around the leaf. You should end up with a
double layered leaf - fasten off and weave in ends.
Alternatively, you can make two separate leaf panels and sew them
together.

between two petals
Ch 35 (length can be varied depending on usage)
Insert hook into the tip of the leaf and sl st
Weave in ends
For a thicker chain, you can sl st again through the 35 ch
