Third time in a week: 10 Killed, 25

Injured In A Crash In Tan Phu.

A horrifying bus accident occurred in Tan Phu District. The catastrophe

claimed the lives of 10 people and injured another 25. The traffic police team of
Tan Phu district is handling the case.

Initial information, around 6 a.m on April 4th, a bus suddenly skidded while driving on
the Tan Phu from Au Co to An Suong, just passed the Au Co and Hong Lac
intersection, crashing into the back of another truck that was traveling on the same
route.

The strong impact caused the front and side of the passenger car to be broken,
deformed, and scattered many pieces of debris. Many passengers on the bus
panicked and shouted as the driver and many passengers were severely injured.
Unfortunately, the severity of the accident resulted in 10 deaths, including 4 students
and 6 elderlies as well as 25 injuries, most of whom aged 15 to 34.

The original cause was designed to be a broken drain pipe of this area, causing the
road to be slippery, making it impossible for the driver to control.The police are
taking statements from witnesses to clarify the cause.

This is the third incident of its kind; the first occurred on the northern side, when a
pick up van fell into a canal, and the second was a mini truck accident where it lost
control and ran into the median strip.

The government is putting effort into improving road work quality and raising
awareness of travelers on highways as well as small roads.
