Company Background

We decided to open a company which is a Cafe. The unique aspect in our Cafe is that we all agreed
that all our recipes to be a fusion of western and tradisional malay cuisine to embrace our own
culture’s identity through taste and adding a touch of western ideas into them.

Our cafe is located in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. We choose this location because we all believe that
this is a very strategic location to attract customers. The founder of this cafe is Muhammad Jeff
Aiman bin Harudin which is the manager in the cafe’s management. The total amount of employees
in this company is 12 workers.

Our cafe sells food that is a result from a western and malay cuisine fusion that implements
traditional recipes and creates a new and modern twist towards it. Why change traditional recipes?
The answer to that is because we believe that adapting to change is one of the few keys to success.
Though, even with the changes, we didn’t leave out the comfort that the traditional recipes always
had. Because of that, we decided to name our cafe “Cafe Renjana”. The word “Renjana” means a
strong feeling of love, comfort and missing someone which is why we agreed to the tagline “ A taste
you will miss” . We sticked with this tagline because we believe that our culture’s identity has been
left out with the current changes of the world. So, we decided to open this cafe to let people
embrace and enjoy our culture’s identity to one of the most comforting things that is food.
