End of School Year Newsletter

Dear Parent/Guardian,

As we have reached the end of another school year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for
your help, support and interest this year. We have had another busy and successful year in the school and,
you as partners in your child’s education deserve great credit for that. I would like to especially thank the
families that are saying goodbye to Kilkishen N.S. this year. There are 7 families that are leaving the school
this term. Thank you for supporting the school down through the years.

School News

6th Class 2023

Best Wishes 6th Class 2022. Kilkishen N.S. would like to wish Megan, Úna, Clodagh, Alli, Anna, Tracey,
Jane,Sara, Olivia, Colin, Ruadh, Evan, Juliet and Chloe the very best wishes as they transfer to St.Joseph’s
Secondary School in Tulla in September. Good luck to you all. A graduation ceremony was held on
Wednesday June 28 at Kilkishen G.A.A. Clubhouse to award 6 th class with graduation certificates and a

you to Mr. Keane for putting this Photo Story together for everyone to enjoy and Kevin Donovan for the
wonderful graduation gifts.

Farewell Kate Neville: We wish Kate Neville the very best as she transfers to a new school next term.
Kate’s new school is extremely lucky to have such a wonderful pupil joining in September. We will miss
Kate greatly and thank her for teaching all of us at Kilkishen N.S so much over the last 7 years. Some of

Mr. Keane for creating this Photo Story to remind everyone of Kate’s journey at Kilkishen N.S.
Parents Association Committee: I would like to thank the Parents Association Committee for their
continued support of the school throughout the year. Just some of the activities our Parents Association
Committee organized included a reception for those that attended First Holy Communion on May 6,
Christmas collection in aid of Clare Haven, a fundraiser in aid of EVA (Ennis Voices for Autism), a fun quiz
night in aid of our Astro-Turf extension as well as funding a bouncy castle and inflatable obstacle course at
our school sports day this year. Thank you to everyone that helped, supported, volunteered or donated to any
of the activities that took place this year. We look forward to your continued support next year.

Booklists and Book Rental:

All school books and copies will be provided by the school next year. Pupils are required to purchase their
own school stationary appropriate for their class level. School fees for Insurance/Photocopying/Accelerated
Reader and other Online subscriptions will be collected in September.
