Environment & Innovation Task 2

There have been and continue to be many great environmentalists/activists who ‘do’ - to promote the
well-being of the planet and all its living beings.

2 of histories greats are Dr. Jane Goodall (she’s AMAZING) and Dr. David Suzuki. Listen to and ‘feel’ the
following videos. It’ll take maybe 20 minutes of your time – VERY worth it though! You can find them
on You-Tube.

After, individually respond briefly to the following questions:

 Which of the videos caught your attention the most, why?

 What stood out to you from the things that were verbalized in these videos?
 What would you say are the messages that these videos share in common?
 What commitment can you make (to help the planet) and be an active part of making a
difference?

Also, you should send your responses to the “Pre-Speech Questions” doc. as soon as possible. I will
reply to you with comments/suggestions and to let you know you are ‘good to go’/move forward with
the writing of it. Remember what we spoke about and what is explained in the ‘Final Speech’ doc.
