Dear Sir,

Submitted hereunder is the security survey report made in behalf of our agency by
our security personnel, Dion Michael N. Tulo for your perusal and approval.

I. Preliminaries
A. Authority:
The survey was done upon the sole request of the security personnel under
the authority of the KARAW Security Agency to suffice the assessment of the
level of security of the Tulo Residence at Barangay Santa Rosa, Zone 1, Island
Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte.

B. Date and Duration of Survey


December 8 at 1530H to 1700H same date

C. Weather Condition
The survey was made with in a cloudy condition.

D. Surveying Personnel
The survey was solely initiated by Chief security personnel, Dion Michael N.
Tulo.
II. Establishment Surveyed
A. The Tulo residence has a total land area of 900 sq. m. It is located in an urban
area. The said lot is near the national road. Its infrastructures include a two-
story house, which was built in the year 2009, with a garage in front of the
house, and a garden beside the house. Valuables found in the area include two
motor cycles, two cars, two bicycle, one watch dogs, one television and sound
system, five cellphones, watches, a laptop, and a family document. The said area
is not equipped with any perimeter barriers, and emergency devices (cellphones,
alternative cooking and medical supplies), protective alarms, guard force (dogs
and residents), locks, and lightings.

B. The Tulo Family consist of five members, Armand J. Tulo (Father), Maria Luz N.
Tulo (Mother), Maria Alexandra T. Nocete (daughter), Dion Arman N. Tulo (son),
Dion Michael N. Tulo (son).

III. Security System


A. Physical Security
1. Perimeter Barriers

a. Situations:
 The area is not equipped with any perimeter barrier.

b. Recommendations:
 Put barrier in the area with at least 1ft tall Top Guard to prevent any
intrusion.
 Add at least 7ft tall wired fence or solid concrete, and also add a gate to
avoid any intrusion.

2. Entrance and Exit Points (2nd level)


a. Situations:
 The front door is equipped with two types of door, a screened door and a
wooden door.
 The windows of the house are equipped with jalousies and grills.
 The walls of the house are made of solid concrete.

b. Recommendations:
 Replace the window to sliding window
 Put some screen for additional security

3. Guard Force and Guard System

a. Situation

 The residents use animal barriers for additional security.


 The residents have one middle-aged dog leashed on different areas
vulnerable for intrusion.

 The residents must add one dog.


 The residents must train their dog properly.

4. Protective lighting

a. Situations:

 The house has thirteen Interior lights and five exterior lights
including in the kitchen and living room, one light for each room.
 In case of irregular power failures, the building has a circuit
breaker.
 In case of blackouts, the residents have five chargeable flashlights.

b. Recommendation:
 The residents must change their lights after 80% utilization.
 Replace light because it’s getting dimmer.

5. Protective Alarms and Communication

a. Situations:

 The residents have one dog for protective alarms during day and
night.
 For means of immediate communication, the residents have five
cell phones

b. Recommendations:
 Unleash dogs for better protection.
 Check the phones if they are fully charged.
 As a resident, be alert all the time.

6. Protective Locks and Keys

a. Situations:

 The residents only use door knob as a means of lock.


 The residents house has no bolt locks.

 Add more padlock.
 Strengthen locks by adding barrel bolt locks and dead bolt locks.

7. Emergency Planning
a. Situations:
 The house has a circuit breaker that easily stops the flow of
electrical current in the house.
 There are alternative cooking facilities.
 There are emergency lights in case of blackouts.

b. Recommendations
 Put the circuit breaker in an area that could be easily find.
 Prepare emergency food, and basic medical kit.
 Ready a battery for flashlights.

B. Personnel Security

1. Morale of Household
a. Situation
 The family conducts family gathering and conversations during
meal time. They bond by talking with each other.

 Constantly be with each other’s side and be updated with each
other’s activities and location for security.

C. Documents and Information Security


1. Rules and Regulations
a. Situations
 Documents are hidden in the cabinet.
 The personal documents are hidden differently from the land
documents.
 Each document is hidden by different parts of the cabinet

b. Recommendations:
 Hide the documents that cannot be easily find.
 Put the documents away from any area that could easily be wet

IV. Other Situations and Recommendations


a. Situations
 The locks in the bathroom are broken.
 No perimeter barrier and fence in the area.
 There are loose wires and rusty locks for better security.

 Repair any loose wires and rusty locks for better security.
 Put barriers and fence in the area.
 Fix the broken lock within the bathroom of the house.
