1. BACKGROUND OF THE PREMIS

The building that I perform my observation is my home. Located at No.68 jalan seri cheras 6,Taman Seri
cheras ,43200 cheras selangor. Its corner lot double Storey house and located at the end of the street

2. Risk analysis

The categories of asset I identify from the house were cash, golden jewelry and few important
documents such as house grant and few antique coins collection. All of the assets are at the second floor
of the house

The major treats I identify is only robbery. Since it’s a corner house and its located at the end of the
street it will be easy for someone to do robbery or try to do because no one will noticed any suspicious
movement.

Most robbery consequences are severe because other aggravating factors exist such as the
injury of the victim, death and multiple instances of harm. This could also include the emotional
stress, psychological damage through assault and property destruction
3. Elements of Physical Security measures

a. Potential items to observe:

I. Camera

There were six CCTV cameras all around the house one 360-degree vision camera in the master room
and all of them are connected to Wi-Fi and can be monitored by our mobile phone from wherever we
are all those CCTV also have motion sensors it can detect the movements there were three cameras at
the ground floor covers living room and kitchen and one camera covers at outside of the house. The
other three cameras are at the first-floor covers the front and the side view of the house as shown in the
pictures;

1.The three cameras at ground floor 2. Three cameras at first floor

3. The 360-degree vision camera

ii. Locks (key, keypad, card access, biometric)

Every doors and gate in the house have its own key and padlocks there were one main door and
backdoor for the house and also it has three different doors and all of them have their own gate made
by iron steel. The main door is made by wood and it has lock on it . The back door was made iron steel
with lock and special key that can't be copied as shown in the picture

1. Door no.1 2. main door 3. back door

4. doors to the corridor

iii. Outer perimeter security (e.g., fences, locks, gates on outer doors)

The outer security for this house has an automatic gate system and a small gate with padlock. It also has
180 cm tall wall round the house. Ther also few trees around the house.

1. The automatic gate 2. wall around the house

4. the plants around the house 4. the gate for back enterance
iv. Inner door security ◦ Physical security of equipment (computers, etc.)

the inner door security the house had alarm system it detects any forceful entry and alerts people
around. The sensor had been placed door and window frame and it also has its own code to stop the
siren sound .

1. the siren 2. siren control panel 3. the sensor

v. Lighting Sensors

The house also has motion sensor spot light. The light only lights when there is any movement 1,5-meter
radius. This house also had TNB street light near to the house where the house is always had light
around the house.

1. SENSOR SPOT LIGHT 2. TNB STREET LIGHT

vii. Security guards or other personnel

At this house or this housing area doesn’t have any security guard but do have guarding dog to gurad
and detect the thief's.

For the physical security controls you found, were they designed for deterrence, detection, delay

and respond.

4. Give your opinion on the overall security plan in the organization

In my opinion the security plan in the house were designed for deterrence, detection, delay and
respond. The dog will discourage easy entry and deter the intruder and alert the owner by barking. The
CCTV , the alarm system and the sensor light will provide early warning of unauthorized entry and detect
where is the intruder. The tall walls, the trees around house, the locks and also the siren will delay the
intruder to enter the house and slow down his process to enter the house. After the detection of
intruder, the owner can call the police station or alert others to respond such as call neighbors for help
to catch the intruder. In conclusion, this security plan is a very safe and secured plan for the house.
