Warm up (5 draw a silly face on the board. Draw a face with big head, small eyes, big ears, a small nose,
minutes) etc. Next, ask students questions about the silly face to elicit some adjectives. For example,
you can point to the eyes and ask “Does he have big eyes or small eyes?”.
Teacher pick up a blue pen and ask students “Is it red or blue?”, “Is it big or small?”, etc.
Review Once you have practiced enough, briefly explain to students that these words that describe
things are adjectives, and they are the words you will be learning today.
Activity 1: +Explain the meaning: Adjectives are words that tell us about what things look whole class/individual
like. In other words, they describe people, places, or things. (For ex: sad, happy, big, small,
old,young)
+Do the Acitivity P30,Teachers ask: "What does these animals say?" Students answer
+Ask them to find the adjectives in each sentences in P.30

Activity 2: +Explain to them the position of adjectives:


+Write on the board: It is a ....tree, we put "big"between "a" and "tree" but when there is no
"tree" we don't put "a" in front of big , so it becomes It is big, give other examples and write
on the board, let Ss come on stage and fill in such as It is a ... table (small)--> It is...

activity A before put those words in order , Teachers give Ss time to prepare and students go
to the board to write the answer aftr having finished

Ss practice Activity P.32, then go to the board and write the answer
