As they interact with the realities of today's classrooms, prospective and aspiring

teachers' perspectives can be improved in a variety of ways by learning about and understanding

diversity in the classroom.

Today's instructors are likely to deal with a wide variety of students, including those from

various socioeconomic origins, with various learning challenges, as well as those who identify

differently in terms of their ethnicity or religion. Second, fostering educational equity and

maximising both access and results depend on working effectively with diversity in the

classroom. Third, there are both immediate and long-term advantages for students in learning

about diversity and creating plans for cooperating well with others who think differently. Last

but not least, diversity in the classroom offers an opportunity for educational enrichment as well

as a teaching tool.
