With regard to the appeals cited under reference, it is informed that all earnest efforts
to complete the project despite odds & difficulties have been taken by the Railways. As there was
a delay in getting the estimate from the TNEB, the work got held up. With lot of persuasion, the
required amount raised by the TANGEDCO has been paid by the Railways and the TANGEDCO is
on the job of shifting the electrical cable and post at present. Simulteneously, the contractor of
this project has been insisted to expedite the works towards the compeletion of project
tentatively in next 3 months.
