Lighting Design a Song

In this assignment, you’ll be pick a song from the list that follows this paragraph and
creating a lighting design for it. You’ll be using th ETC Nomad software, which is the
same software the EOS family of lighting consoles use (EOS consoles are the backbone
of professional theatre).

● Download EOS software

● Open the project file (In the Lighting Files folder)
● Pick a song
● Familiarize yourself with the software
○ Selecting lights
○ Changing parameters
○ Palletes
● Familiarize yourself with the lights
● Create cue for the song
○ Create effects

Group 1:
● channels 1 through 10
● A down “gobo” wash

Group 2:
● Channels 21 through 28
● High Side lights
○ Lights from SL are blue
○ Lights from SR are pink

Group 3:
● Channels 21 through 40
● Down LEDs
○ Can change color!

Group 5:
● Channels 51 through 58
● Cyc lights
○ Can change color!
Group 6:
● Channels 101 and 102
● Moving Lights
○ Can change color!
○ And move!
