Course Outline
この授業では、初級レベルの語彙を学びます。初級前半と初級後半の語彙のうち、主に動詞と形容詞に焦点を
当て、およそ 600 語を学習していきます。⽂法を学ぶための授業ではありませんので、注意してください。
In this class, you will learn elementary level vocabulary. We will study about 600 verbs and adjectives. Please note
that this class is not designed to learn grammar.
教材は、毎週アップロードされる動画やハンドアウトです。毎週、テストを実施します。8 回⽬と 14 回⽬の
授業では、定期試験を実施します。
Materials are videos and handouts that will be uploaded weekly. Vocabulary tests will be given every week; regular
exams will be given at 8 weeks and 14 weeks.
この授業は、全回オンデマンド配信型授業として実施します。
This class will be conducted on demand.

Preparation and Review

毎回の授業でテストを実施しますので、その準備をしてください。授業後には、語彙を覚え直すなど、必ず復
習をしてください。
There will be a test in every class, so please be prepared for it. After class, be sure to review the vocabulary.
テストの準備や復習においては、⾃分が語彙を定着させるために必要だと思うだけの時間を費やしてください。
In preparing for the test and reviewing, be sure to spend as much time as you think is necessary for you to retain
the vocabulary.

Steps in Learning
Step 1: Access Waseda Moodle and download the word list.
Step 2: Learn the words and prepare for the vocabulary test (or exam).
(1 week later...)
Step 3: Access Waseda Moodle and take the test.
(scoring is automatic)
Step 4: Check your scores and review the words (and download the new word list).

テストや試験を受けなかった場合、追試は⾏いません。
If you do not take a test or exam, you will not be given a make-up exam.
