My Learning Episode Overview

This learning episode explores the wonders and significance of instructional

materials to enrich the teaching-learning process. These devices will assist me to
improve student’s knowledge, abilities and skills.

My Targets (Learning Outcomes)

At the end of this activity, I will be able to

 Create my instructional materials for classroom instruction.

 Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness in preparing instructional
materials.
 Take snapshots of the various instructional materials used by my
cooperating Teacher

My Tasks (Activities)
Visit the learning resource center / school library of my cooperating school.
Interview the school librarian on the different instructional materials available in my
cooperating school. List down some of these materials which I can use in your assigned
episode.

My Analysis
In preparing instructional materials, I need to consider the following factors:

Clarity instructional material must be easily to understand.

Size instructional materials should not be very big or very small it should be on
the proper size so that learners will be able to be read and understand its
content.
Content instructional materials should contain relevant information aligned to
your targeted goal.
Neatness instructional materials should be free from any dirt or damage that can
affect to the focus of our learner
Contrast we should be very smart when choosing color combinations.
Laptops and other software device power point presentation we should avoid too
much animation or effects when using them also we need to be smart on
displaying information using technology.

My Reflection / My insights
In preparing instructional materials, I realized that instructional materials must be
appropriate to our diverse learners it should cater the necessary information that is
aligned to our objectives. I need to prepare instructional materials so that my
learners should easily understand the lessons also as a teacher it help us a lot and
were able to save time and money when we were smart doing our IM’s.
