In early 2020, the world was shocked by the advent of unknown pandemic that are known as Covid-19
now. The Covid-19 pandemic has led to a dramatic loss of human life worldwide and presents an
unprecedented challenge to public health. Due to the increasing of death, almost all countries in the
world declared lockdown to protect their people. Malaysia is one of the countries that announce
lockdown as the pandemic continues to spread rapidly. As soon as the lockdown are performed, no one
are allowed to leave their house either go to school or go to work and no outside business are allowed
also. This means people who do business as their income can’t even open their shop. Even though
lockdown was performed, they cannot just leave or close their business because that is the only job they
had to survive during the lockdown and pandemic. Remember the lockdown rules are people are not
allowed to do business out from their house, so these people came up with so many sales and marketing
strategy to make their business successful. One of the marketing strategies is make everything online. As
people are not allowed to go out, the best thing that business owner can do is make online business. By
making online business people can easily buy their products without even need to go out. Some of
online business platform is Shoppe and Lazada. Social media can also act as online business platform.
The next strategies are making video about their products, explain what special about their product and
lastly post it on any social media such as TikTok, Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. This strategy has
proven to be effective after so many business owners have successfully sold their products. Lastly, other
sales and marketing strategies are run deals and offers. These kinds of offers will help gain in new
customers while also getting old ones interested in coming back to buy their products. All this sales and
marketing strategies are few that might help business owner sell their product successfully but always
remember success doesn’t come easy and easy either way. Success consist a lot of patience and
dedication but at the end it worth it.
