Subject:- MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF MODERNIZED INSPECTION

REGIME AT GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS.
I am directed to refer to your letter No.SOR(ICI&SD)1-1/2022(P-VI) dated
28.11.2022 on the subject noted above and to state that the Weights & Measures Wing
and Boilers Inspection Wing of this Directorate General (IPWM) has adopted the e-
inspection module that was developed by the Prime Minister’s Office.

2. I am further directed to point out that in the development phase of the

system, Planning & Development Department, Government of the Punjab spearheaded
the project and played the role of coordination amongst the various departments
involved in the project. Hence it would be appropriate that the centralized monitoring and
evaluation system to be established as requested by the Prime Minister be done through
the Planning & Development Department, Government of the Punjab.
