Period of Work Type of Report
Procedure for LNG tank Filling Procedure

No Item Description

1 Obtain work permit from Nichias FGS, conduct safety briefing prior to start work among workers

2 Ensure all safety concern for work is aware by workers.

3 Identify work to be done as listed below.

1) Install filling hose.

2) Open all bypass valve at tank and vaporiser.
3) Pick a tank with steady pressure at 4 bar and above without stop production line at PLC panel.
4) Start filling the tank until achive certain level that equalize between lorry tank and LNG tank.
5) Rise LNG tank pressure before swap another LNG tank for filling process.
6) Monitor pressure after regulator before close all bypass valve once settle filling process.

1) Install filling hose.

i) Install first hose at PBU unit to connect vapor point from tanker.

ii) At PBU install second hose to connect condensed gas into a liquid to tanker.

iii) Next, procede with third hose that link to gas line at LNG tank to equalize tank pressure.
iv) Open valve V10 at LNG tank to ensure tanker able to build up pressure without purging gas into atmosphere.

v) Then, close V10 valve and disconnect the third hose after settled build up pressure at tanker.
vi) Attach third hose that supply liquid from tanker to top fill line at LNG tank.

vii) Open valve V3 and V4 to allow top filling.

2) Open all bypass valve at tank and vaporiser.

i) At both LNG tank there were liquid bypass valve, V6 that need to be open during filling.

ii) Vaporiser bypass valve

3) Pick a tank with steady pressure at 4 bar and above without stop production line at PLC panel.
i) From PLC panel, clear indication can be seen and can control which LNG tank to use automatically.
ii) Click at one of the tank with bigger pressure to keep a steady production without pressure drop.
4) Start filling the tank until achive certain level that equalize between lorry tank and LNG tank.
i) During filling process, pressure drop will occur at the LNG tank due to amount of liquid enter the tank.
ii) Once the filling achieve certain level the pressure remain constant between tanker and LNG tank.
iii) The amount of pressure and level can be refer both at tanker and LNG tank.

5) Rise LNG tank pressure before swap another LNG tank for filling process.
i) Filling process will ensure pressure of LNG tank to drop until 3 bar.
ii) However, the other LNG tank that been used by production line is in high pressure.
iii) Before swap the LNG tank, wait for pressure of tank to build up before change setting at PLC panel.
iv) Set manually for running LNG tank and Open V14, V12, T2-EV2 and close V5 valve to reduce the pressure.

6) Monitor pressure after regulator before close all bypass valve once settle filling process.
i) After settle down filling process, both LNG tank and vaporiser are still in bypass condition.
ii) If the pressure after vaporiser is constant, start to close bypass valve for LNG tank.

iii) After LNG tank is stable, close bypass valve at vaporiser that not been used or not freezing.
iv) Once, all the downstream line pressure stable, close the other bypass valve at vaporiser that been used.
