(2) Adjustment screw.

1. Move the machine to a hard, level surface. The surface must also be dry and free of debris.
Engage the parking brake.

2. Start the machine. Run the machine at low idle.

3. Make sure that the transmission neutralizer override switch is in the LOCKED position. Remove
plug (1). Plug (1) is located on the front of the base for the left brake pedal.

4. Make sure that the left brake pedal is in the RELEASED position. Use a 1/8 inch allen wrench in
order to turn adjustment screw (2). Turn adjustment screw (2) clockwise in order to increase travel
of the service brake before the transmission neutralizer switch is actuated. Turn adjustment screw
(2) counterclockwise in order to decrease travel of the service brake before the transmission
neutralizer switch is actuated.

Note: The final setting of the transmission neutralizer switch depends on the preference of the
operator. Generally, the neutralizer switch is adjusted so that the switch disengages the
transmission after approximately two or three degrees of brake pedal travel.
