Abstract
There is a thing called an inconvenient truth. Inconvenient truths are stories that we tacitly
agree with but are reluctant to speak about because they can cause controversy, and many of
these inconvenient truths are based on contradictions. Sensemaking is a cyclical process in
which unexpected events or events with high uncertainty are given meaning to improve the
situation. Organizational psychologist Karl Wyck, a professor at the University of Michigan,
has developed this theory, attracting attention in business administration over the past several
years (Reis, 2010). This report will provide how values influence the sensemaking of
complex contested issues and has completed how influences and experiences in life shape
personal values—lastly, the ethical journey of personal, relevant values with a picture.

Introduction
Those who take the law of nature as their guide believe it is the right thing to do to obey the
laws of nature or the content of character. There is no royal road to solving ethical dilemmas,
but having a basic framework for organizing thoughts is good. Everyone has their selection
criteria, and no one can make moral judgments about the actions of others. Because many
variables affect our behavior, outsiders can only grasp some factors related to decision-
making. According to Kant's moral construction, moral rules and values are not discovered
but constituted by our practical reason. Therefore, we can explain the objectivity and
universality of moral rules by elucidating what practical reason requires. This report will
prove how values impact sensemaking.

How values influence sensemaking;
The situation related to corporate CSR is uncertain, and people have different opinions, so it
is difficult to know which action is appropriate. It is also difficult to predict what action it
will take when the action is taken. Here, of course, managers who cannot act immediately
should be able to Sensemakingsensemaking the situation in order to take action. Considering
the ever-changing reality of Society and the economy, this can happen even in organizations
that have already responded appropriately, so almost all organizations are likely to face this
situation. After people understand what they perceive, they use the meaning they give,
Sensemakingsensemaking, a new meaning to cope when people cannot use their regular
practice because of uncertainty and ambiguity in reality. It is an active process that
creates(Nijhof and Jeurissen, 2006). With CSR, when the corporate manager has a positive
and negative perception of surrounding stakeholders or new scientific/social knowledge, it
makes Sensemakingsensemaking, gives meaning and finds a suitable expression, Giving
sense to the surrounding stakeholders and continuing the exchange that defines their position
and attitude through the learning gained. The first question of Sensemakingsensemaking is
“What is happening?" If so, the following “what should I do?” is a consequential element of
sensemaking that comes naturally. Thinking and acting means continuing sensemaking as if
both knowing and ignorance coexist and adapt, keeping both positive and negative sides in
mind. Communication is the core of Sensemakingsensemaking and, consequently, the
organization Because. Communication is an ongoing process of understanding the
surroundings in which people collectively find themselves and the events that affect them.
Sensemaking occurs in a mutual dialogue between people. Through dialogue, they express
themselves verbally by borrowing language to create and exchange a promised frame of
expression for their surroundings. In the end, the conversation reveals an understandable
situation around the unintelligible and creates a basis for action to deal with the situation. It is
that the mutual dialogue of the members of the organization creates a scene of the
surroundings, including people, objects, organizations, history, or their status, within a short
time and space to derive a situation, share it, and take new actions(Nijhof and Jeurissen,
2006).

Values have intrinsic desirability as opposed to needs and motives by expressing basic human
needs and determining the degree to which various behavioral processes are considered

attractive, and are presented cognitively when people communicate about them (Iles &
Vogell, 2018). According to Schwartz's value theory, conservative values (tradition,
conformity, security) are self-limitation, command, and resistance to change
(Schaefer&Blundel, 2020). These values represent motivation to avoid uncertainty,
ambiguity, and anxiety, and individuals who emphasize conservative values have the
motivation to perceive themselves and others in simple, unambiguous terms. The value of
openness to change (self-direction, stimulation) emphasizes independence, ease of thinking,
and new experiences. Individuals who value openness to change are motivated to explore,
discover, and pursue new and unexpected situations.

Reflect on personal values;


The SVS pattern lets me know my interests are my personal support. By demonstrating
competence according to standards in Society, personal success is necessary and motivated
by social status and control over people and resources. Politicians and civil Society are
making their own efforts to respond to global warming and climate change, but this is not
enough to stop climate change. We need to understand the urgency and impact of climate
change, feel the sadness, and respond effectively to it by adopting appropriate
environmentally friendly actions(Shalom, 2017). From the perspective of the ERS, if we can
create a desire for change in our hearts through a new culture without being satisfied with
political compromise and our actions, we believe that more than we can imagine, which is
essential for the planet, may suddenly come before us one day.

We made life up of many little things. Small and big things pile up and become daily life, and
daily life creates another habit. Habits that are repeated repeatedly gradually become solid
and become life. Palgongsan is a place to stay, refresh, and receive comfort. It is a place to
understand yourself more, look back on the relationship that has become insensitive, and
learn warmth. It is an exquisite place where you can embrace the beauty of nature as it is; if
you are alone, it is good to be alone. But sometimes, we often look back on our lives.
Sometimes the word life feels too grand and heavy. This is especially true when faced with a
highly realistic reality. When you are tired of worrying and threatening your life or all kinds
of tasks that require responsibility, the word life comes to you with much weight. Climate
change means Palgongsan's menacing envy of spring, snow falling even in March, and heavy
rain. Mountain birds that cannot find food in the snowy mountains come down to the city
center. It is necessary to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and carbon emissions so that
neither mountain birds nor roe deer is bought. Nature does not intend disasters. Humans and
birds are just weak in the face of nature.

Conclusion
As the sensemaking process cycle is repeated, they can find a shared meaning that fits the
organization's system. Through this, they can clearly express their understanding of the
environment in that they had difficulty responding. Values are essential to cognitive and
sensory formation, and life can feel meaningless when values do not match. The value
decreases according to experience and interpretation and over time.
