BILL OF QUANTITIES FOR BOQ - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

DH TP GR 1 PREAMBLE

Bidders shall quote for the entire Facilities on a “single responsibility” basis such that the total tender price covers all obligations of the Contractor
pursuant to or to be reasonably inferred from the tender documents in respect of the design, manufacture, including procurement and subcontracting (if
any), delivery, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and completion of the Facilities. This includes all responsibilities of the Contractor for
testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the Facilities and, where so required by the tender documents, the obtaining of all permits, approvals
and licenses, etc., Operation Service Period and such other items and services as may be specified in the tender documents, all in accordance with the
requirements of the Conditions of Contract. No payment will be made for items which have not been priced; such items will be deemed to be covered by
other items on the price schedule. It is not allowed to leave an item blank, in the case the Bidder does not want to price an item he should insert the
wording "Covered elsewhere", otherwise it will be considered covered elsewhere.

DH TP GR 1
Bidders are required to submit a tender fully compliant with the commercial, contractual and technical requirements specified in the tender documents
DH TP GR 2 and to quote the price covering all commercial, contractual and technical obligations outlined in the tender documents.
Prices quoted by the Bidder shall be fixed for the time period during which the Contract is performed should it be awarded to the Bidder and shall not be
subject to variation for any reason. A tender submitted with an adjustable price quotation which is not consistent with this paragraph shall be treated as
DH TP GR 3 non-responsive and rejected.
Bidders must quote all components of the overall price in the “Price Schedules” inclusive of all duties, taxes and other levies payable by the Bidder
DH TP GR 4 under this tender and works, or for any other cause, and applicable as of the date as indicated in the Tender Data.
If a discount is offered by the Bidder, it must be clearly specified in the Price Schedules. The discount must be quoted for the price excluding taxes and
for the entirety of the works. If the Bidder offers a discount, the discount must be included on each interim payment certificate and calculated on the
DH TP GR 5 same basis as in the tender.
DH TP GR 6 The prices shall include all customs, import duties, and levies for a proper evaluation.
DH TP GR 7 The prices shall include all applicable and required permits, approvals, insurances, utilities connection fees, etc…
The civil works and buildings shall include but not limited to: earthworks including demolishing any existing structures, clearing of site, excavation and
backfill, soil improvement, shoring, dewatering, piling, fence, access gates, material disposal, tests, doors and windows, finishes, external works, metal
works, waterproofing, landscaping, trenches, duct banks, manholes, pipe works, networks, road works, embankment, formation and grading, pavement,
sidewalks, mechanical, electrical and plumbing embedded parts, etc… including all deemed necessary items to complete the works as per the
performance specifications and to the approval of the Employer/Engineer.

The Mechanical Works shall include but not limited to supply, install, connect, test and commissioning for the following: process equipment, pumping
systems, surge protection systems, all piping works and valves necessary for the conveyance of water, sludge, air and chemicals, wastewater, drainage,
and any fluids between the different treatment units and buildings and the site works, as well as piping for the drainage of treatment units and buildings,
service water network, irrigation network, potable water network, building services such as: HVAC, water supply, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, all
complete including pipes, fittings, valves and chambers, tanks, workshop tools, lifting equipment, and all necessary accessories and supports, etc…
including all deemed necessary items to complete the works as per the performance specifications and to the Approval of the Employer/Engineer.

DH TP GR 9
The Electrical Works related to the site, buildings/structures services ,shall include but not limited to supply, install, connect, test and commission for the
following: LV cables and wires with conduits and cable trays, electrical distribution and lighting panel boards, power sockets, indoor lighting including
wiring devices, wires, conduits and lighting fixtures, etc. , outdoor lighting including feeder pillars, lighting poles ,lighting fixtures, lighting control
devices, cabling, etc…, earthing/grounding system, lightning and surge protection systems, CCTV system , fire alarm system, Telephone and data
systems, PVC conduits, and manholes, etc. and all other accessories and items deemed necessary items to complete the works as per the performance
specifications and to the Approval of the Employer/Engineer.
DH TP GR 10

The Electrical Works and Instrumentation and Control Works related to the process systems of the WTPs shall include but not limited to supply, install,
connect, test and commission for the following: 33KV connection for mobile substation, 33KV Cables, Power and distribution transformers, MV and
LV generators, MV switchgears, Ring Main Units (RMU), MV and LV Motor control centers (MCC),Control panels, local control stations, distribution
panel boards, control devices and PLCs, all hardware and software, communication and interface devices for SCADA system, all equipment for control
room, MV/LV cables, instrumentation and control cables, Fiber Optic cables, etc.,… installed in cable trays/ladders or in uPVC conduits with concrete
ducts banks and manholes, and all other accessories and items deemed necessary to complete the works as per the performance specifications and to the
Approval of the Employer/Engineer.

DH TP GR 11
The works shall include Shop Drawings and As Built Drawings,(Equipment Tagging and Labeling for all works and pipe works, with all testing and
DH TP GR 12 commissioning requirements, maintenance and operation works.
DH TP GR 13 The Employer reserves the right to omit any item.
The attached tender documents are to be considered, which are:
1- Conditions of the contract.
2- Performance specifications.
3- Bill of quantities.
4- Drawings.
As well as the work site and all that is necessary to determine the value of the bid.
