GENERALLY
A The rates for each item must be comprehensive and must include for complying with the specifications,
drawings and all obligations under the Contract including all matters and things necessarfor the proper construction,
completion and maintenance of the Works. No claims for additional payment will be allowed for any error or
misunderstanding by the Contractor of the Work involved. The Bill of Quantities shall be read in conjunction with the
Conditions of Contract, Specifications and Drawings and the Contractor shall provide against the bill rates or in the
prices for the full scope of work covered by the Contract, no claim or variations shall be considered on account of the
Contractor’s failure to comply with this provision.
B The rates for each item must allow for complying in all respects with the requirements of the specifications and
drawings and requirement of Local Authorities and must include for, but are not limited to all of the following :
i) Cutting and the consequent wastage for work in girths, width or heights, and for all short lengths.
Providing working drawings, shop drawings, revisions until approved, etc. and for obtaining the
ii) Engineer’s approval.
iii) Maintenance till handing over to the employer.
iv) Labour and all associated costs.
v) Materials, goods and all associated costs.
vi) Fitting and fixing materials and goods in position.
vii) Provision of plant, scaffolding, equipment and tools.
viii) Temporary Works.
ix) Protection of the Works.
x) Establishment and overhead charges and profit.
xi) Complying with all obligations imposed by the Contract.
xii) All applicable taxes, duties, charges, Government levies, landing charges and transport.
xiii) Obtaining approval of materials.
Manufactured items and work methods including the provision of all drawings, manufacturer’s
xiv) specifications, literature, samples and copies of manufacturing standards.
C The tenderer should submit together with his tender, the breakdown of the tendered rates in the Rate Analysis
Schedule at the end of the Bill Of Quantities. Further, the Contractor will be required to provide the Engineer with a
full and detailed Rate Breakdown before issuing Letter of Intent of being so requested. The breakdown is to show
the actual calculations of the Preliminaries, Labour, Plant and Materials costs for the Works, build-up of measured
rates with on-costs and overheads and any other allowances used to arrive at the Tender Price.
D Variations - The rates inserted in the Bills of Quantities with the application of the adjustment item will be used
to value any variations to the Works, whether omissions or additions.
E Lump sum values shall not be inserted where unit rates are applicable and the Tenderer shall ensure that
identical items occurring in separate bills are not priced at different rates, unless this is the deliberate intention.

A1 Provisional items in the BOQ may be expended totally, in part or not at all as directed by the Engineer. The
Contractor will have no entitlement to any claim including loss of profit in the event that any or all provisional items
are omitted in part or in its entirely.
B The Tenderer shall not be entitled for any overheads, profits, builders work, etc. of any kind, witrespect to the
items which are deleted.
C The Tenderer shall not be entitled for any overheads and profit on fees, charges, deposit paid to thvarious Local
Authorities in connection with temporary service connections. Building Permit, etc.
D The quantities inserted against items in the Bill of Quantities are estimated quantities for the Works for the
purpose of Tender evaluation and the Tenderer shall be deemed to have checked and verified such quantities in the
compilation of his Tender Price prior to the submission of his Tender. Upon the award of the Contract, the priced Bill
of Quantities shall be used solely for evaluating interim payments due to the Contractor, and as a schedule of rates
for establishing the value of variations.
E The Contractor shall not use the Bill of Quantities for the purpose of ordering materials or arranging Subcontracts.
References to these activities shall be the Specifications and Drawings and instructions issued by the Engineer.
F All items in the Bill of Quantities shall be deemed to have a monetary value, whether priced or unpriced. In the
absence of a unit rate or price against any item, the cost shall be deemed to have been included elsewhere within
the Contract Price and the work ascribed to that item shall be executed by the Contractor without any additional
payment.
G Written annotations of any nature that are inserted against items in lieu of a monetary value shall, without
exception, be deemed to mean that the cost of that item is “included” elsewhere within the Contract and the work
ascribed to that item shall be executed by the Contractor, at no additional cost.
H The descriptions in the Bill of Quantities may be incomplete and the Tenderer is referred to the Drawings and
Specifications for complete information in respect of all the relevant descriptions, quality, dimensions, capacities,
design parameters and the like.
Method of Measurement
J The quantities in the Bill of Quantities have been prepared generally in accordance with the Principles of
Measurement (International) for Works of Construction dated June 1979 published by the Royal Institution of
Chartered Surveyors, 12, Great George Street, Parliament Square, London SW1P 3AD, U.K. amended to suit local
practice and conditions. The description of each item (which description shall imply references to any headings, sub-
headings, preambles or other clauses or items which shall apply) shall be held to include all materials, workmanship,
plant and equipment including all taxes, duties, charges, all Government levies, landing charges, transport, profit and
overheads and all other incidental costs to complete the Works.
K These preambles are to be read in conjunction with the item descriptions in the Bill of Quantities.

Preambles
A All measurements are net and the rates shall include for all laps, waste, working space and trade or traditional
allowances.
Discrepancies
B In the event of there being any discrepancies between details on Drawings, descriptions in Specifications and
descriptions in the Bill of Quantities then the rates and pricing shall be deemed to relate to the documents order of
precedence set out in the Form of Agreement. Any discrepancy arising in terms of these Preambles and the items
contained within the Bill of Quantities must be brought to the attention of the Engineer for his clarification prior to
the submission of Tender. In case the clarifications are not asked by the contractor before submitting the tender, the
decision shall be at the sole discretion of the Engineer.

GENERALLY (Cont’d)
A The expression "fix only" used in the Bill of Quantities means that the Contractor shall provide the following facilities:
iv) Casing up and protection, including clearing away protection on completion of the Works, including
that of Subcontractors.
v) The full cost of replacement of any items which are damaged, broken, lost or stolen after the
acceptance of the items from the supplier or Employer and until handing over the complete Works.
vii) Necessary supports, brackets, fixings, etc. including all associated civil works and builders’ works.
viii) The Engineer shall specify these items including all accessories, which are required to complete the
installation as detailed in drawings, specification or Bills of quantities. The details of the materials,
supplier's information and delivery details shall be issued to the Contractor when they are finalized.
However, Contractor shall be responsible for quantification and informing the Engineer.
ix) The Contractor's rate will include for wastage, cutting, breakages and maintenance stock. The
Contractor's rate to include for spares as required in accordance with specifications.
B The expression "supply only" used in the Bill of Quantities means that the Contractor is to provide for everything as
defined in Clause GP4.1 of POM(I) in connection with such items except for labour.
C The Contractor's rate will include for wastage, cutting, breakages and maintenance stock and spares as required in
accordance with specifications.

GENERALLY (Cont’d)
A Certain rates within the Bill of Quantities may include Prime Cost Rates and the material specification and fixing
details will be described. The Tenderer shall include against each heading the necessary additions, overhead and
profit required to provide the final rate which the Tenderer must complete and carry to the relative place within the
Bill of Quantities.
B Where Prime Cost Items are included in the Bill of Quantities, the Tenderer shall include in the bill rates for all costs
associated with the purchase of the materials including obtaining quotations and samples, taking delivery, unloading,
storing, replacing goods damaged, broken, lost or stolen, waste, fixing in position, and all overheads and profit.
B1 Adjustment to the Contract Price with respect to the Prime Cost Rates shall be done in accordance with Clause 58.2
of the Conditions of Contract.
C At the time the Engineer has approved the materials to be used on the Works covered by a Prime Cost Item, the BOQ
quantity multiplied by the finalized rate shall be considered by making necessary adjustments to prime cost rates
only.
D Should the materials covered by a Prime Cost Item be omitted from the Contract no payment against that Item
including fixing charges, overheads, profits shall be made to the Contractor.
E The discount offered by the contractor will not apply to the prime cost items as stated in the Contract Document.
F The Contractor's rate will include for wastage, cutting, breakages and Maintenance stock.
G When the metal and timber doors and aluminium doors are P.C. rate items, the Contractor will provide and fix sub
frames for the same in his tender.
H The Contractor is to include in his L.S. price for all PC items the wastage and additional quantity for maintenance as
required in accordance with specifications.

GENERALLY (Cont’d)
Pricing of Materials
i) Pricing Preambles and Specifications shall apply reciprocally between Sections of the works unless
otherwise described.
ii) Materials shall be of the quality specified unless otherwise directed by the Engineer.
iii) All materials shall be transported, handled, stored and fixed in accordance with the printed
instructions or recommendations of their Manufactures or supplier.
iv) Protection of completed work, all casing and temporary coverings and making good, cleaning and
polishing and clearing away upon the completion.
v) The prices shall be comprehensive and must include for complying in all respects with the Instruction
to the Tenderers, Condition of Contract, Specification and Drawings and for all matters and thing
necessary for the proper construction, completion and maintenance of whole work involved. No
claims for additional payment will be allowed for any error or misunderstanding by Contractor of
work involved.
vi) Where the word "allow” is used, the cost of the item shall be responsibility of the Contractor.
vii) Contractor is responsible for storing the material either on project site or at any other appropriate
place (it is found fit with prior concurrence from the engineer / Client) as per manufactures and
suppliers specification. All such storages, material shifting, loading, unloading, re-shifting etc. shall be
the responsibility of contractor at their risk and cost and client shall be not charged for the same.

PRELIMINARIES
Bill Items for Site Offices, Plant, Workshop and Site Laboratory Facilities
A Payment for the establishment of these items will be lump sum which will be made only after the completion of all
facilities. Breakdown of all lump-sum amounts to be submitted together with the Tender Submission.
C Payment for the removal of these items will be by lump sum which will be made only after the completion of their
removal. The removal of the Site Office for the Engineer shall be three months after the issuance of Taking Over
Certificate.
E These installments can be suspended, reduced or deleted from any Contract Payment, if, in the opinion of the
Engineer, the Contractor is not fulfilling his obligations.
F The rate inserted for General Protection of the site shall include for the cost to maintain access to areas adjacent to
the work site.
G The item for Traffic safety and control shall include the cost of all temporary traffic diversions and traffic
management necessary to complete the works. The item shall include for liaison with the Police and any other local
authority as necessary and conforming to their requirements for safety.
Bill items for Traffic Safety, Temporary Diversions and Cleaning of Site
H Temporary works, diversions, site cleaning, etc. and other items not otherwise covered in this preamble or otherwise
detailed in this Bills of Quantities will be cost related items and will be paid as a percentage of work completed to
total value of work.
J Payment for the establishment of this surveying equipment will be by lump sum and it will be made only after the
delivery of all the equipment specified. Payment for items maintained will be in monthly installments.
K Payment for this item shall be in monthly installments and is deemed to cover all costs in providing assistance to the
Engineer by the Contractor as stated in the Contract.

PRELIMINARIES
A Payment for Project Sign boards shall include for erection, maintenance, removal within the month of substantial
completion and reinstatement of ground to its original state.
B Payment for progress photographs will be by set of monthly progress photographs as defined in the Specification.
C Payment for this item will be by monthly installments and shall cover all costs and expenses including overhead and
profits incurred by the Contractor in carrying out the requirements of the Conditions of Contract not otherwise
included in the Bill of Quantities. Breakdown of all lump-sum amounts to be submitted together with the Tender
Submission.
D Items for which the measurement unit is in days, such items shall be measured for the actual period for which
facilities, services, etc., are provided in accordance with the construction programme. Measurement will commence
only after the completion of the Mobilization period and on the day as approved by the Engineer in agreement for
the facilities, services etc., when fully provided.
E These installments can be suspended, reduced or deleted from any contract Payment, if, in the opinion of the
Engineer, the Contractor is not fulfilling his obligations.
SITE WORK
F All quantities for excavation have been measured nett with no allowance for increase in bulk or working space.
G The tenderer shall allow in his rates for excavation for excavating in any material including rock, running silt, running
sand, commencing excavation at any depth, excavating below the normal water table, excavating around existing
services and mains, supporting the vertical sides of excavations, working space and filling soft spots.
H Rates for all excavation shall include for keeping excavations free from water by whatever means. Rates shall also
include excavating by whatever means are necessary including hand excavation in any kind of ground, overbreak
including filling with mass concrete to the levels required by the Engineer, trimming or grading ground to produce
level surfaces or surfaces to falls or slopes and ramming and compacting sides and bottoms of excavations and
supports to sides.

A Rates for disposal of excavated material shall include for any necessary double handling and the provision of a tip, if
necessary, including and charges in connection therewith.
B Rates for imported fillings, graded gravel fillings, etc., shall include for purchase and transport of filling materials,
levelling and compacting as required by the Specification, grading to slopes and falls, special compacting to form
vertical or battering faces and forming sinkings.
C The rates for trenched for pipes shall include for disposal and backfilling.
D The rates for drains, inspection chambers, etc., are to allow for testing, unless measured separately in the General
Requirements.
E Rates for drain pipes generally are to include for all short lengths, back stops, wooden plugs and retaining and
alignment pegs required in laying and for the extra involved over normal trench excavating in hand packing and
tamping selected fine material around the lower half of the pipes to buttress them against the side of the trench.
Rates are to include for leaving all pipes clean and clear.
F Pipes are measured nett as laid and are to include for all drain fittings (for diameters below 60 mm) on all types of
drain pipes, extra joints of all types, cuttings, waste, etc., for laying in trenches of any depth, and building in to sides
of inspection chambers.
G Rates for drain fittings on all types of drain pipes are to include for extra joints of all types and cutting and waste on
all pipes.
H Rates for accessories shall include for concrete surrounds and any additional excavation and disposal.
DEMOLITION
J Demolition shall include for carting away to location as directed by the Engineer or handing over to the Employer.
K The rates for demolition shall also include for making good of surface after demolition is complete.
L The rates for remove and stacking shall include for carefully storing the removed material in a secure place until it is
reused.
CONCRETE WORK
A Construction joints have not been measured but are to be included in the rates for concrete slabs, beams, columns
and walls, etc. The position of all construction joints shall be agreed with the Engineer.

A The rates for blinding concrete beds shall include for leveling and compacting the ground under and for formwork to
the edges.
B The rates for concrete shall include for mixing, hoisting to any heights, or lowering to any depth, compaction by
vibrators if required, curing, hacking surfaces for key, keys, kickers, forming and grouting mortices, making good
concrete in connection with holes and mortices, curing and protecting concrete surfaces and all surface treatment to
unset concrete.
C Rates for concrete casing to stanchions shall include expanded metal lathing and angel beads.
D The rates for concrete shall include for joint sealing between concrete and plaster.
E The rates for concrete shall include for concrete test cubes and testing costs.
F No cutting away of concrete shall be carried out without the approval of the Engineer. The Contractor should
ascertain from the Engineer the total number of locations of items to be formed in and cast into in-situ and precast
concrete including those which are not specifically shown on the Drawings. All remedial Works shall be carried out at
the Contractor's expense.
G The rates for bar reinforcement shall include for the fixing of bars of any diameter, extra material in laps,
straightening as necessary, cutting to length, positioning and protecting starter bars, cleaning, wire brushing, bending
to the required shapes, supports, tying wire, distance pieces, chairs, couplers, block spacers and for welding of bars
to form mesh reinforcement.
H The rates for rod/bar reinforcement shall include for the cost of calculating and preparing all bar bending schedules
to the approval of the Engineer. Bending schedules are to be prepared in accordance with BS 4466.
J The rates for fabric reinforcement are to include for straightening before fixing steel binding wire and approved
distance pieces, cutting, bending and notching around obstructions, supporting in position and for all overlaps and
cutting and notching.
K The rates for shuttering shall include for all props, struts, stays, wedges, bolts, all cutting labours at the intersections,
overlaps, passings at angles, shortening struts and re-strutting, cutting and fitting around projections and pipes,
grooves of any sectional area, all stops, chamfers, splayed angles, shutter or mould oil, strutting and supporting
shuttering to any height and for easing, striking and removal.
L The rates for concrete shall include the Control of Concrete temperature as specified.
M Shuttering to sides of walls, parapets or the like shall include the areas for returns, ends, projections, reveals,
rebates, grooves, recesses or the like.
N The rates for precast concrete shall include for all reinforcement and for all moulds, square, rounded and mitred
angels, holes or notching for pipes, forming of fair face, hacking, forming keys, lifting hooks, struts, supports, etc.,
and hoisting, setting and bedding in position.

MASONRY
A The rates for block work are to include for all lintels, cuttings, forming chases, grooves, building to any height off
slabs or beams, raking out joints or hacking surfaces to form key, bedding and pointing frames, etc., building in door
and window frames and the like, building in or cutting and pinning in ends of lintels, steps, timbers, steel sections and
the like, mortices and making good in connection with building in cutting and pinning in, holes and mortices.
B The rates for blockwork shall include for all expansion joint with compressible filler and joint sealant or fire sealant
where shown on the drawings.
C The rates for blockwork shall include for stainless steel anchor channels and masonry ties at horizontal abutments of
beams and vertical abutments of columns.
D The rates for hollow blockwork shall include for filling blocks solid with in-situ concrete and steel bar reinforcement
where shown on the drawings and for providing solid course of blockwork at sill level of all openings and bearings of
all in-situ concrete and the top of all free-standing walls and for stiffener columns.
E The rates for cavity walls shall include for stainless steel vertical twist ties and any infill material as indicated on the
drawings or in the specifications.
METAL WORK
F The rates for structural metal work shall include for the following:
i)
Fabrication, delivery to site and erection.
ii)
Allowance for rolling margin.
iii)
The weight of weld metal in welded constructions.
iv)
Members of any length.
v)
Cutting to size and shape and joints in the running length.
vi) Notches, holes, slots, mitres, ends and for all drilling and splay cut ends.
vii) Grinding to a smooth finish, unless otherwise required.
viii)
Rates for galvanizing or similarly treated work are to include for the treatment of all ends to the
approval of the Engineer.
ix) Rates for Structural Metalwork shall include for shop priming and the like.
x)
Rates for protective treatment and decoration, whether applied at shop or Site, shall include for
touching up on Site, making good erection damage and the like.

A The rates for all steelwork and metalwork shall include for ends, angles, intersections, ramps on frames, handrails,
bearers, stays and the like, assembling and jointing, together components, all holes for pipes, tubes, bars, cables,
conduits and the like and all other holes, countersunk holes, tapped holes, slots and the like. The rates for steelwork
shall include for all stanchions and rafter restraints, gussets and end plates.
B The rates for bolts and countersunk bolts shall include for holes and countersunk holes.
C Rates for ungalvanised steel shall include for one coat of rust proof primer applied at the works or immediately upon
delivery to site.
WOODWORK
D The rates for all woodwork shall include for all raking, curved or splayed cutting, mitres and ends to all members, for
all joints in members over 200mm wide or for obtaining timbers in one width notchings, sinkings, rounded curves,
splayed edges, extra timber in joints, horns, all dowels, cramps, holes for pipes, tubes, bars, cables, conduits, ducting,
non-corroding nails and screws, trunking and the like.
E Woodwork shall be deemed to include for joinery shop/factory applied stain, varnish, lacquer, paint and the like,
protective and decorative finishes. No claim will be allowed in the event that the Contractor elects for any alternative
finishing system in order to satisfy the Specification.
F The rates for waterproof membrane and insulation slabs shall include for testing, cutting, notching, bending and
lapping, seams, holes for pipes, standards and the like, angles, ends, turning into grooves and forming outlets,
skirtings, upstands, aprons, gutters and channels and forming small openings.
G The rates shall also include for warranty as required in accordance with specifications
H The rates for gutters shall include for angles, ends, seams passings at ends and outlets.
J The rates for damp proof courses shall include for laps passing at angles and intersections and for additional mortar
in bedding.
K The rates for insulation shall also include for taped joints as specified.

WALL CLADDING
A The areas given are measured net without addition for laps or seams. Cutting, lapping and sealing shall be
understood to be included in the rates and prices entered.
B Perforating and sealing around pipes, standards and the like shall be understood to be included in the rates and
prices entered.
C Expansion joints, flashing trims, soakers, waterproofing, fillers and seals, and the detail requirements at eaves,
valleys, ridges, corners, windows at the junctions with other constructions shall be understood to be included in the
rates and prices entered.
v) The rates shall further include for rebates, chamfers, grooves, scribed edges, rounded edges and the
like and shall include for all cross grain and stopped work and for all stops, ends, angles and mitres.
v) Glazing fillets shall include pinning to wood or clipping to metal unless otherwise stated.
vi) Patent glazing shall include accessories and shall be fixed with screws or by the method required by
the system used, hardwood framing shall be measured separately.
vii) Glazing shall include blocks, setting blocks, locating blocks, distance pieces, with any accessories for
fixing identified separately.
viii) Cleaning off protective wax coating in rebates prior to glazing aluminium windows, screens and
doors.
ix) Glazing to aluminium shall include setting in continuous PVC gaskets and retaining by snap-fit glazing
beads.

i) Matching screws, fixing and forming mortices, sinkings in floors and the like.
iii) Removal of ironmongery after first fixing to enable decoration, refixing and adjusting.
iv) Testing, easing and adjusting including oiling and leaving in perfect working order.
vi) Supplying and labelling at least two keys for each and every lock and handing to the Engineer.
B The rates for doors are to include for fitting and hanging any type.
FINISHES
C The rates for all finishings shall include for preparing surfaces for finishings or backings, for working at or up to any
height, and all narrow widths, small areas and all cuttings.
D The rates for all finishings shall include for all dubbing out to walls and columns necessary to produce an even
surface preparatory to the application of the finishing coat.
E The rate for all finishing to soffits shall include for level and sloping soffits.
F
The rates for all finishings to block walls are to include for plasterwork to face of concrete columns, lintels, etc.
G
The rates for in-situ plain sheet, tile, slab or block finishing shall include for fair edges, rebated edges, splayed edges,
rounded edges, arises, quirks, grooves, flutes and the like; all ends and angles or risers and edges of landing ends,
angles, ramps to strings and ends of steps; all fair joints or fair cutting, making good cutting and fitting around pipes,
bars, cables, conduits, ducting, trunking, sanitary fittings and the like; dishing to gullies and outlets, mortices, sinkings
and ends, angles, ramps, outlets and intersections to skirtings, flush, raised or sunk bands, sills, dividing strips, control
joints, channels, kerbs and the like.
H The rates for in-situ finishings shall also include for all internal and external angles, fair, rounded and chamfered

A Rates for pipes and ducts generally are to include for all cuttings, short lengths, back stops, couplers, wooden plugs
and retaining and alignment pegs required in laying and for the extra involved over normal trench excavating in hand
packing and tamping selected fine material around the lower half of the pipes to buttress them against the side of
the trench. Rates are to include for leaving all pipes clean and clear.
B Pipes are measured nett as laid and are to include for all fittings on all types of pipes, extra joints of all types,
cuttings, waste, fixing with approved holderbats or pipe clips, sleeves through walls, thrust blocks, etc., for laying in

C The Provisional Sums given in the Bills of Quantities may be used in whole or in part, or not at all, on the instruction

overheads and profits, attendance and builders works will be deleted. No compensation will be due to the Contractor

beams, ceilings, bulkheads, access panels in false ceiling for all works etc., and making good of the same and the like
items. Boxouts and frames are also included. Protective and decorative painting is to be included if not included
elsewhere. Provision for lifting, storage and scaffolding is to be included if not included elsewhere. For kitchen
cabinets, wardrobes, etc. it will include for concrete up stands, steel supports, frames, brackets and the like. For lifts,
sill projections/angle supports at landings are to be included here.
B Specific Builders work in connection will include excavation, cutting, filling, providing openings, making good the
openings for ducts, sleeves, supports, bases, pads and plinths for plant and equipment and the like items. Only

Item Description
A. Generally
Day works will be administered strictly in accordance with the Conditions of Contract, Clause 52 (4).
The Contractor will be paid for day works carried out during the course of the Contract while other operations are
in progress at the rates set down in this Schedule. Profit and overheads are not to be included in the actual rates
but stated as percentage addition in the item provided for same at the end of the Labor, Material and Plant
Sections of this Schedule of Rates.
The basic Rates to be inserted in the Day work Schedules shall be the Rates which the Contractor has used in
determining his Unit Rates inserted elsewhere in this Tender and Contract Document.
Time engaged in the actual works only will be allowed. In the event of labor or plant having to be brought to the
Site specially for the item of day work then a reasonable allowance may be made for travelling time, but the
allowance for travelling time is to be agreed before the Day work item is executed.
The day work rates quoted for labor are to be the inclusive NETT amounts payable including for use and waste of
hand tools and of all ordinary non-mechanical plant, staging, scaffoldings, tarpauline, use of electric light and
water for the Works, etc. and all special inducements for working. The rates shall also be deemed to include the
extra cost of public holidays other holidays with pay, medical costs, bonus, sick leave, termination indemnity pay
and the like. Unless specifically authorized in writing by the Engineer, non-productive overtime or special rates for
overtime will not be admissible. The cost of all supervisory staff including engineers, foremen, clerks, store men,
charge hand, etc., is to be included in the percentage addition for profit and overheads.
To the above scheduled amounts shall be added a percentage by the Contractor to allow for his extra costs for

working plus all other profit and overheads involved.
G This entire is PROVISIONAL and the cost of the items will be paid by the Contractor only if expended.
