General comment about the reading

We did not know the history of the statue of liberty, it was interesting to know that it
was the idea of the poet, Éduard de Laboulaye.

PART II

Are you going to volunteer yes or no, and why?

We think we wouldn’t volunteer, because there are more cons than pros in this case.
If we took the opportunity, we could only board flight 60 which departs at 17:50, and
taking in consideration that the flight takes about 2 hours gate to gate, it means we
would be landing at 19:50. And there would be 40 minutes left until our important
dinner, but we should think about the chance of having a delay in the flight, or the time
it takes to prepare ourselves for the dinner, how we move from place to place and the
traffic in a place we don’t know. So, it is too risky to volunteer for this opportunity,
because of the important dinner. But we’re sure if we would have not had this
commitment, we would surely take this big opportunity to have another flight almost
for free!
