    Calculate the stresses in members CE, DE, and DF.


    Indicate compression or tension.

    Answers: Stress @ CE = 9.259 ksi (T), Stress @ DE = 22.222 ksi (T), Stress @ DF = 18.517 ksi (C)

    Answers: Force of CE = 16.667 kips, Force of DE = 40 kips, Force of DF = 33.333 kips


    Now that we have solved for forces at every member, we can now substitute each force in equation for stress
