ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION

TABLE 1.A – Age

Table 1.A shows the age of the respondents to the questionnaires. Out of 60 respondents, 27 are
19 years old with the percentage of 45, 18 are 20 years old and above with the percentage of 30
and 15 are 18 years of age and got 25%. This analysis implies that the vast majority of the
respondents are 19 years of age.

TABLE 1.B – Grade level

Table 1.B presents the year level of the respondents. Out of the 60 respondents, 15 respondents
(73%) are in the first year level, 11 respondents (18%) are from the second year level, 3
respondents (5%) are from the third year level and only 2 out of 60 respondents (3%) from the
fourth year level.

TABLE 1.C – Gender


In this section, Table 1.C presents the gender of the respondents. According to the data presented
in the table, most of the respondents are female. 36 out of 60 (60%) that answered the
questionnaires identify their selves as female. On the other hand, 24 out of 60 students are male
with the percentage of 40.

TABLE 1.D – Departments

Table 1.D presents the departments of the college students that responded to the questionnaire.
The following indicators are the official departments/college in the University. The College of
Imternational Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM) got the highest percentage of
respondents among the other departments - 18 out of 60 respondents are from the CITHM
departments. The second department with the highest number of respondents are from the
Lyceum International Maritime Academy – 9 out of 60 respondents are from this department.
Tie in third rank with 6 respondents each (10%) are from the College of Allied Medical
Professions (CAMP) and College of Computer Studies (CCS). Out of 60 respondents, 5 (8%) are
from College of Business Administration (CBA) and 5 (8%) from College of Education, Arts
and Sciences (CEAS). Both in fifth rank are the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) –
4 out of 60 respondents are from this department and College of Nursing with 4 out of 60 (7%)
respondents from this department. 3 out of the 60 respondents are under the department of
College of Engineering with the percentage of 5%.
