OKI PCL6 Class Driver and OKI PCL6 Class Driver 2

These drivers are provided with Windows 10/Windows Server 2016 Built-in or Windows Update.

Windows Built-in Driver:

Refers to the driver included in the Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 operating system,
these drivers are also referred to as "in-box drivers" or "in-OS drivers".
Automatically installs for printers that are on a non-domain network with 30 devices or less.

Windows Update Driver:

Automatically installs the driver when the computer has an internet connection.

OKI Driver
Full feature driver available on the OKI website.
There may be some feature limitations under Windows 10/Windows Server 2016 operating system.

There is a possibility that the following symptoms happen after applying the monthly quality rollup in July 2022. We confirmed these symptoms
and informed them to Microsoft for further investigation.
Please follow the steps below as a workaround.

MFP;ES5162 MFP, ES5162LP MFP, MB492, MB562
(*) Devices with firmware version A01.32 or later

Symptom1:
PC will be rebooted after applying the monthly quality rollup. After that, “Copy1” of the printer icon will be created and you cannot print out with
the original printer icon. You can print out with the new icon “Copy1”.
[Workaround]
Please remove a USB cable from computer, and delete both the original printer icon and Copy1 icon (right click and select “Remove device”)
Please insert the USB cable to computer, and carry out “Plug and play”, then a new printer icon will be created and you can print out with this
new icon.
NOTE1: All settings in the original printer icon will be removed.
NOTE2: Apart from a new icon, if another icon with “USB Device” is created, please reboot a computer.

Symptomf2:
With a USB connection, if a printer firmware update is carried out with one of the following software, the firmware update will not be completed
because the software cannot connect to the printer after the printer reboots.

then select [Automatically Select] for Source before printing.
