Statement of Purpose

“Computers have lots of memory, BUT no imagination - hence your brain works like a
computer, So, make sure you are the only one programming it.” - Bill Gates.

This quote certainly is a prompt to anyone eager to enhance their knowledge of computers,
especially the info after the word ‘SO’ In other words, your computer will only reflect your
memory, your thinking, and your literacy on the computer.

Right from my teens till now I am enveloped in the world of computers. Hence it is no
strange reason for me to ultimately make a career in the world I am living in. Yes, this
knowledge of computers grew with my passion and my addiction got me glued to the
computer frequently. But I always felt there is much more to learn which can only be
imparted from a reputed university. To hone this skill, the only way is by being a student of
your esteemed University. I am certain that this course will give me the right stature to be
erudite in the software industry.

I owe my education foundation to Shri sai vidyanikethan School with 82%, from here I was
moulded into a discipline and studious child. To do the intermediate grades I got admission at
Sri gouthami junior college with 89%, and to do my graduation with a Bachelor of science I
sought admission at Mahatma Gandhi University with 93.7%. Throughout these three
platforms I have been introduced to, exposed to, and now developed a passion for computers.

Apart from academics and work I also have a lighter side of me where I have a fervour for
travel, by traveling I get to appreciate the beauty of nature created so magnificently, and also
study diverse traditions and cultures. To keep myself fit and healthy I dance a lot, sometimes
to be calm I play indoor games like Chess and carom, which needs more work than ethical.
The best part of me is when I am in the company of a good book, in this I develop my
vocabulary and also able to hold a coherent conversation. I derive pleasure in taking part in
technical events.

The country that I am looking at is certainly The United States of America for its extensive
research culminated in the selection of the most sought-after Graduate program in Computer
Science at your University. The program offered by your university is tailor-made for my
academic and professional goals where I aim at being a top executive in a firm. I believe that
the courses offered will help imbibe crucial skills in Computers. Overall, your curriculum is

nutshell, I am so wrapped and addicted to augmenting my knowledge in Computers, which is
