A. The FGD was conducted to plan a specific performance task for learners of Statistics and
Probability for enriched teaching practice.

B. Throughout the FGD, there was a collective agreement on the importance of providing
learners with performance tasks that encourage active learning and higher-order thinking.

Teachers shared that their students often feel burdened when it comes to problem-solving
and analyzing data in Statistics and Probability. To address this, the FGD participants
emphasized the need to devise a fun and entertaining activity that meets performance
standards. The "Lato-Lato Challenge" emerged as a promising solution, combining real-life
scenarios with statistical analysis in an interactive way. By integrating the challenge into the
lesson plans, teachers aim to transform the learning experience into an enjoyable and
engaging endeavor. Through the challenge, students can develop problem-solving skills,
critical thinking abilities, and data analysis techniques while experiencing a sense of
enjoyment and accomplishment.

The group unanimously agreed that the DLL should outline how the challenge will be
integrated into the curriculum. The FGD also highlighted the significance of assessment,
with agreement on well-defined criteria aligned with learning objectives. Implementing
rubrics with specific indicators for problem-solving, data analysis, and presentation skills
can facilitate fair and consistent evaluation.

C. The proponent “Mr. Richard R. Raqueño” of the "Lato-Lato Challenge" will prepare the DLL,
Mechanics of the Performance Task, and rubrics for assessment. The mechanics should be
aligned with the intended learning competencies, providing step-by-step instructions and
guidelines for tackling the challenge with confidence.
