ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

NAME OF ACTIVITY: 2-Day School-Based Echo-Seminar Workshop on COMPREHENSIVE SEXUALITY


EDUCATION (CSE) and MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT (MHM)
DATE: March 24 & 31, 2023
VENUE: Palompon NHS UNIC Bldg., Palompon, Leyte
PARTICIPANTS: Selected teachers of MAPEH, AP, ESP Science and Personality Development

The 2-day school-based echo-seminar workshop on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and Menstrual
Hygiene Management (MHM) was successfully conducted on March 24 and 31, 2023, at PNHS UNIC
Building. The workshop aimed to equip the participants with knowledge and skills on CSE and MHM and
integrate these concepts into the DepEd curriculum. Below are the highlights of the workshop:

DAY 1 - March 24, 2023

The first day of the workshop started with the preliminaries, including the invocation, singing of the Philippine
National Anthem and DepEd Hymn, welcome address by the School Head IV, and opening remarks by the
JHS Coordinator. The energizer activity followed, which aimed to set the mood of the participants and prepare
them for the day's training.

The training proper started with the first session on the rationale and significance of CSE standard presented
by Queenie Lubiano, CSE Coordinator. The second session tackled MHM/CSE Teenage Pregnancy: What we
know and what to know? presented by Rosalina L. Guzman, SHS Guidance Advocate. The third session
focused on Know Your Status: Understanding, Recognizing, and Reducing the Risks of STIs/HIV presented
by Roselyn Tuvilla, JHS Nurse. The last session of the day was about CSE Curriculum Standards: CSE Entry
Points to K to 12 (MELCS) presented by Queenie Lubiano, CSE Coordinator.

DAY 2 - March 31, 2023


The second day started with the preliminaries, including the invocation, singing of the Philippine National
Anthem and DepEd Hymn, and management of learning. The energizer activity followed to set the mood of
the participants and prepare them for the day's training.

The training proper started with the fifth session, which focused on Gender Relations: Violence and Staying
Safe: VAWC. The sixth and final session was about Integration of CSE and MHM Concepts in DLPs/WHLPs
presented by Charlene Molina, JHS Guidance Advocate.

PART III - Closing Program

The workshop concluded with the closing program, which included the awarding of certificates to the
participants. The participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to attend the workshop and their
commitment to applying the knowledge and skills gained from the workshop to their respective roles in
promoting CSE and MHM among their students.

In summary, the 2-day school-based echo-seminar workshop on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE)
and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) was a success. The participants gained knowledge and skills on
CSE and MHM, which they committed to apply in their respective roles to promote CSE and MHM among
their students.

RESULTS/OUTPUT:
DAY 1
The program started with the Invocation.

Maám Noemi welcomed the Opening remarks by the JHS Rationale of the program by the CSE
participants and briefly discusses the Coordinator, Renilda Avelino. Coordinator, Queenie Lubiano.
