I, Mst. Rokaya Akter Rakhi, a twenty years old girl like to describe myself as neither especially
talented nor gifted. I am only very, very curious of why, what and how things are going through in
a motion. Being a nerd has not always been my forte but since I gained common sense of my
surroundings, it has felt like I have been inserted few good virtues that will never land me in any
kinds of trouble. I am the second child of Md. Mohidul Islam and Mst. Shiuly Khatun, from a
village called Jalilpur situated in Jhenaidah. In 2021, I have completed my latest educational
program which is known as Higher Secondary Certificate, equivalent to A level education.
I graduated from Jalilpur Secondary School and passed my SSC exam in 2019. Then I went to New
Govt. Degree College, Rajshahi where I completed my HSC exam in 2021 but due to COVID-19
situation, academic calendar was delayed and result was finally published on second week of
February, 2022. I scored GPA 5 out of 5 in each and every subject respectively in both of my
exams. I also secured 7.0 out of 9.0 band score in my IELTS exam in June, 2022 which is my proof
of language proficiency.
Chinese cultural values are one of the most unique and positively contagious values in theworld.
The thing I like the most about China is undoubtedly the people and their friendly, creative and
hard working nature. China is ruling the world in each and every sector through their immense
creativity, hard work and determination. They are using their huge population for the greater benefit
of China and vastly for the world. China provides one of the best educational environments in the
world. They have very strong research facilities in each and every institution. In various
competitions around the world, we see Chinese students dominating and clinching victory which
only signifies the rich educational field in China. If I am given the opportunity to start my
undergraduate studies in China, I am sure I will be able to acquire the knowledge for my desired
future professional career as well as the needed skills and experiences.
My intended bachelor major is Artificial Intelligence which is four years full time Program. But I
need proper educational guidance which will allow me to drive my efforts determination in the
correct path. As a student, I am curious and determination; my determination will only rise if the
correct environment is given to me. I am a quick learner, can sustain tough situations. I have given
a fair bit of research to it on the internet and compared most of the countries with rich educational
culture and came to a conclusion that China is the perfect place for me.
From my high school, I had been pretty active in extra curricular activities. I have participated in
National High School programming Contest and came out as a top contestant twice in a row. My
name and stories were in Prothom Alo newspaper featuring on 8th March for international women’s
day. In College I was in many indoor contests like debate and quiz, present delivering speech on
vital and crucial topics happening in the world. I am currently doing MMA practice in local self-
defense class in Rajshahi also volunteering programs for animal welfare association in Rajshahi and
a part of tree plantation Program under evergreen society.
To conclude, living in such an environment with people having similar goals and aspirations is an
enthralling experience in one's academic life and is of considerable importance in one's professional
career. Knowledge has no limit. This is especially so of computer science and technology. Study of
computer science in technologically advanced country like China can only ensure that the journey
in the pursuit of knowledge will not end. It is for reason that I want to China where industry and
university interaction is paralleled. I believe I am a determined and active student who is willing to
provide service to the world. This particular program will open a gateway to my dream. If I get the
proper aid in my education and finance, I will be motivated and more aspirant towards my study.
