 27/07/2023 HIV Counseling (submission)
 28/07/2023 Rapid HIV Testing Examination
(Submission)

Operating hours

 Report on duty at 0730 hours and knock off at


1700 hours Monday to Thursday
 On Friday knock off at 1330 hours
 Saturday and Sundays you are off unless there is
special occasion

Expectation

 Each procedure has a standard operating


procedures so read before you perform it
Roles and responsibilities

 Provide information on HIV testing to clients


 Explain the HIV testing procedure in a simple way
 Conduct a HIV risk behaviour assessment on
clients
 Keep all records data about the clients confidential
and safe
 Make follow up to clients whom have failed to link
with medical clinic

by the organisation.
 Participate in case conferencing
 Record client results on the lab tracking logs
 Participate in demand creation activities
(mobilization)
 Provide education on HIV, AIDS, STI’s and their
implication through various platforms

health talks, outreaches (schools, key population hot spots,
kgotla etc), HIV counselling, HIV testing
