    COMPARING NEW YORK

    VS BOGOTA
    New York (New York State) is one of
    the most important cities in the world,
    but it tends to be smaller than Bogotá
    (Colombia). However, these two cities
    have become a major tourist
    destination for tourists.

    1. The climate is divided into four seasons in the year
    2. Depending on the season the temperature drops to zero
    degrees and can reach up to thirty five
    3. Compared to Bogotá you can experience summer, autumn
    winter and spring

    1. The weather in Bogota is quite cold
    2. The most of the time it is rainy
    3. The maximum temperature is twenty one degrees

    One of the most recognized


    places in New York is the
    "Abouth Their theater", but
    Bogota has a better tourist
    place called "Monserrate".

    The Tourists prefer to visit


    Bogota more than any other
    city, because Bogotanos
    represent the Colombian
    culture in a much more fun
    and interesting way and New
    York does not.

    New York, has many beautiful tourist places. For


    example the "Luna Park" which is an amusement
    park, there is also the "Central Park" which is an
    urban park open to the public.

    Bogota is also a very touristic city like New York, it has two very
    big amusement parks "Salitre Magico" and "Mundo Aventura",
    also, there is the urban park called "Simon Bolivar", although
    "Central Park" is bigger than Simon Bolivar, they are very nice
    and fun places for the whole family!

    GASTRONOMY
    New York's gastronomy is
    nice, but not more so than
    Bogotá's. However, the food is
    much more delicious than in
    New York.

    The changua, tamales,


    picada, empanadas are the
    most delicious things in
    Bogotá.

    In New York, people eat


    seafood, pizza, pretzels,
    doughnuts, etc., but tourists
    prefer the "greasy stuff" more.

    The best food is in Bogota but


    that doesn't mean that New
    York is the worst!

    I like living in Bogota


    because I need to
    enjoy the places and
    activities more.

    I am only interested in
    spending time in
    vacation and enjoying
    myself in New York.
