clarifications as necessary.
c) Highlight the importance of considering factors such as safety,
efficiency, and cost-effectiveness when selecting farm equipment

D. Lesson Proper
1) The teacher will introduce the following concepts using the
introductory activity as reference:

 Equipment in Swine Production

E. Application
Instructions:

a) Present the students with a real-life scenario where they need to design
a swine production facility, taking into consideration the appropriate
farm equipment for each stage.
b) In groups, have the students create a layout and equipment plan for
their facility, explaining their choices and justifications.
c) Encourage creativity and critical thinking in designing an efficient and
effective swine production setup.
f. Abstraction/Generalization

Equipment in swine production refers to the various tools, devices, and machinery
used in the management and care of pigs on a farm. These pieces of equipment are
essential for maintaining the health, welfare, and productivity of the swine herd.
Swine production equipment serves a range of purposes, including providing
proper nutrition, creating a suitable environment, ensuring efficient handling, and
maintaining hygiene and disease control. It includes feeders, waterers, housing
equipment and many more. Each piece of equipment plays a critical role in the
overall management of a swine operation. Proper selection, installation, and
maintenance of equipment are essential to support the well-being and productivity
of the pigs, as well as to optimize the efficiency of the swine production system.
