a BOP or Business Opportunity Program as a webinar for our first day in company. The BOP

served as an Orientation and we learned about how they work and grow the investment in AIA

Philippines.

Day 2: 17 February 2022

Today we had a meeting on what tasks we are about to handle in the company and

the company thinks about what tasks we can do because they are still adapting and depending

on what task we can do in the company. Manager says that we wait for the announcement for

the grouping for each task.

Day 3: 18 February 2022

On this day, I expected that we have a meeting for the tasks discussion but the

managers didn’t show to the intern. Some of the intern have concern about the task.

Day 4: 24 February 2022

Today we’re having an initial meeting with our managers regarding groupings.

Managers set the groupings with the handle of different managers; my group consists of five

OJT students assigned along with Manager Meredith unit D4. Our manager Meredith handles

us for upcoming tasks and activities that we’ll be doing in the company. I hope that activities

go well for all the OJT Students in the agency.

17

Day 5: 25 February 2022

Today our Manager Shiela Joy showed and explained all the UI and functions to their

website and how they handle and protect the user's personal information. Our manager Joy

distributed the activities for one of each group and gave us a one-week deadline to do the first

activity, the first assignment of our group is creating a specific calendar.

Day 6: 28 February 2022

Today Manager Shiela Joy showed about their website and other technology that helps in the

company. The website of AIA Philippines was so useful for their field of work in inviting people

and creating interesting business ads and they use it for inviting their trainees to join in their

webinar and learn how the company works.

Day 7: 1 March 2022

Today our group had been given the task to create a Monthly Activity Calendar

and we started to create by designing individually to make more options for our manager to

choose one design for their Monthly Activity Calendar. The duration for this activity is a whole

but our group finished it early and passed it to manager Meredith.

Day 8: 2 March 2022

We had another meeting this day with manager Meredith, she asked about the

progress in our first Task that was given. After that, manager Meredith saw other works of

some groups; she showed up the works of others to be used as a guide or basis for the next

design task.

We were invited to a meeting today, but it was canceled because manager Meredith

had an urgent meeting. We were requested to finish and improve the given task.

Benefits, Reward, and Bonuses. Our manager was very happy to reach Top 1 in BOP this

Month.

Today, our manager was given the task to create and design a poster to promote the

Agency’s achievement and recruitment process. Our team chose to use red color for the

theme design to make it pleasing and minimalistic. Our group chose the simple way of creating

the design to be more readable for the agency and other clients. And today we started the

next task which is to search for a Referral Task.

Day 12: 8 March 2022

In today's meeting, we focused on how we can Learn and Earn at the same time along

with the agency. Manager Joy started to discuss how to earn money in different platforms then

she asked who is willing to be a Carefinder under the agency. Our team decided to be a

Carefinder to help the agency to find a potential client. Our task is to fulfill the 5 referrals in

one day and we will continue in finding people to join in the business opportunity program the

whole week.
19

Day 13: 9 March 2022

Today, we’ve been recognized for a Q & A meeting on activity issues. Our manager

gave an additional task for all teams in the agency and our managers asked us to do an

invitational poster for AIA Philippines.

Today, our team continued with the task of referrals to finished the task quickly.

Managers of the Crizaldo Finance Associates Managers asked the OJT students about

upcoming visitors in a webinar that help us by sharing their life background. Manager Joy

needs to invite visitors that help others to understand how the agency works, because some

of the students wants to leave in the company. One of my group mates suggested, if possible,

to merge with the other student that was left alone and manager joy, Manager Helen agreed

about that so our team had a new task and redesign our team logo as part of D4.

Day 15: 11 March 2022

Today, the team had a session to draw out other questions and suggestions on how

to quickly finish our referral task to promote the upcoming BOP. In addition, our group

improved our logo and poster to make it simple and presentable in the clients and managers.
20

Day 16: 12 March 2022

We had an urgent meeting again today, Manager Meredith met us to give a new task

that can help the company in Agency Expansion. The new task for our team is to create a

Graphic infomercial, it can be a tool in presenting what the company or agency can offer to

the clients. The Video Advertisement included the basic information for the agency and our

group shared it on social media to boost in other platforms and gain more potential clients.

Day 17: 14 March 2022

Today, managers recognized our team that can make a simple and reliable task, so

manager Helen wants to improve their team logo for the whole Pascual Unit. Before we started

to create a new logo for Pascual Unit, we decided to have a meeting in discord app to share

more ideas on how to improve the Pascual logo.

Day 18: 15 March 2022

Today, after our group finished the given task, we decided to send it to manager Helen

warning for temptation in working for government company and how to prepared for better life

as fresh graduate students.

Day 22: 21 March 2022

Today I will consider it a rest for our team and other students. We had a meeting by

the agency to check and update us about the upcoming event in the company. Our managers

didn’t give us new tasks for today and gave free time for the trainees to rest for upcoming

events.

Day 23: 22 March 2022

We didn’t have a meeting today but the agency announced that they have a

face-to-face meeting for the agency expansion. The meeting is not required to attend by the

trainees; it's up to the student if willing to join the meeting personally. The managers asked for

help from the student trainees in inviting people to join in the company event. I hope my

relatives that I invite will go there to help the company.

22

Day 24: 23 March 2022

On this day, the face-to-face meeting for the agency had started. We don’t

know if other trainees attend that meeting. I personally want to join in that meeting to see our

other things.

I hope tomorrow we have a little progress for the ID design.

23

Day 28: 29 March 2022

early in the morning I started to think about the design for the Company ID and decided

to choose the color black and red for the starter color of the company. I created the Company

ID in Canva, it's easy to use for designing and creating ID and I’d use a few designs from the

previous activity to create an ID. I hope our team does it perfectly.

Day 28: 30 March 2022

Today, I continued on creating and designing the ID Company. I want to finish our task

but progress still slow because of my mouse isn’t work properly. I asked my group leader for

other to perform well in every task. I especially thankful on the company for welcoming all the

student to their company. I’m looking forward for the experience and all the people that I had

in this company.
24

Problems Encountered

Work from Home Set up is quite hard for the trainee and one of the problems I

encountered is about inviting people for business opportunity program its quite hard for some

trainee to communicate and persuade people to listen to the BOP. Other problem is the task

or activity is not aligned to the course of all the student.

Solutions

The solution to the problems by the trainee is to dealing with the task, willing to learn,

and practicing the to communicate to other people. Company should teach basic knowledge

and demonstrate the tasks to the intern to give them background to the task at easiest way.

The trainees should practice to do task even its hard to able to provide quality output.

Overall-reflections

The internship program will be benefiting the student along with the company on how

to handle the next trainees to provide better knowledge and skills. The intern should be more

competitive and acquire new knowledge and skills to help them increase their

communication talents and self-esteem to meet other standards and accomplish what the

intern’s career should be.

The internship is a kind of training to provide the student new knowledge to achieve

success and continue their journey in a work environment. As a graduating student I learned

how to maximize my talent and skills to prove that I can pursue my goals. I learned that

communication skills are one of the fundamentals to survive in this environment.

26

SUMMARY

On-the-job Training is a design for the student to prepare for a real-work environment.

Internship programs are guides for the student to perform their skills to have enough

experience to use in future jobs. OJT is a popular approach for the student to get experience

in their chosen career path. It is the way to apply what the student puts to what they have

learned from school and allow the trainee to grow, improve, and increase their talents. On-

the-job Training is beneficial to the trainees for providing a lot of knowledge and determining

which job fits their knowledge and personality that the student can use for future real-work

environments.

The intern was trained in a real-work environment under administration of Crizaldo

Financial Associates. This agency allows the intern to develop their communication skills, time

management, and build up intern self-confidence to achieve their goal. Lastly, all the

projects/tasks in this company achieve the goal to teach and give knowledge to pursue the

position in Computer Science where the student can utilize their work experience.
