Hi. This is my iAccelerate Program 2023 Video Interview Submission.

1. My name is Aldo Bungkulan Hutagalung. I graduated from the Ocean Engineering

Bachelor program at Bandung Institute of Technology on April 10th of 2021 with a
3.20 GPA out of 4.00 and the judiciary's verdict of Highly Satisfactory. I worked
in Engineering and Construction sector for approximately 1 and a half yrs and am
currently enrolled in a 1-year paid internship under PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. It
is scheduled to end on october this year.

I apply to this program because personally, I believe that the future is digital. I
want to learn more about Technology so i will be able to ride the waves of digital
transformations instead of getting drowned in it.

2.In my first job, under HSL Indonesia, i worked as site engineer to supervise
offshore pilecap installation and casting. While i was starting to work there, the
crew averaged 1 pilecap installed and casted / day. our client wants us to install
and cast 2 pilecaps / day. To achieve this, I pre ordered more pilecap from land
site in advance so i can install more each day and encouraged my workers to work
more hours so more pilecaps can be prepared for installation for the day after. I
stayed along with my workers until all extra work is finished. I also foster a
better relationship with my workers so they would, in this case "help" me. as a
result, we averaged 2 pilecaps installed and casted after 1 week of preparation.

3. This also happened in my first job. We are wrapping up for the day, but the
barge/team next to us is preparing to cast a pilecap. However, the sea condition on
that evening is rough. To be able to cast this pilecap, that team needed our barge
to move parallel to their barge to cover the pilecap from the rough sea condition.
But, if i do so, our pilecap, left without the protection of our barge, is bound to
be battered by the sea waves.the right thing to do here is to support the other
team to maximize production. And we do so. However, our pilecap is left battered by
the sea waves and is broken. Therefore, we need to re install it the day after.
