SUMMARY
It is our first day today and for our practice we were given a task to plot their old project floor
plan and see how well can we do it with Autocad. Our Supervisor oriented us of what will be our
duties and responsibilities in our stay during our OJT.

SUMMARY
While we were doing the Kathryn project, the General Manager, Engr. Garry, came to us and
asked if we could draft the retaining wall that he needed. He first draft the dimensions and label
the plan that he wanted us to do. Then we plot it in Cad and but since we don’t have any idea
how does the retaining wall look like and the details that we need to put in it we take the
remaining time to have a research and also asked them about the details that we don’t know.

SUMMARY
Today, we went to the stock area of the company, it is just 5-10 minutes away from the office.
There is a mock up test where the water proofing materials that will be installed in the LRT
project of the company is being tested. They demonstrated it to the workers for them to know
and see how to properly install it. We stayed they for several hours and saw how this water
proofing membranes were torched for it stick with the other layers. It is quite expensive but the
warranty of this is at least 10 years.

SUMMARY
After some research yesterday, we were able to start drafting the retaining wall and since we
have an idea of what it should look like it is not quite easy to identify the pen assignments and
details that we will show. We finished it within the day but since Sir Garry is nit around we just
passed it to our Supervisor and gave it to Sir Garry when he came.

SUMMARY
Today is the first time we are going to a construction site. We were told to give the window
opening details to the Foreman on site near our office and the site is called Remy. It is the new
office of the company. after several months this is their new office which they designed and
planned. When we came there, they only have 4-5 workers doing different things.

This is what I finished today, I would want to finish it but Sir Garry told me some revisions and
since it is urgent I finished it first leaving me with unfinished floor plan of the Kathryn house.
Tomorrow we were told to start with the 3D of the house.

SUMMARY
We finished the model today and presented it to our Supervisor. I can say that we have a lot to
improve and enhance in our rendering skills but it is really a big help to us that our Supervisor
gave us some tips when rendering.

SUMMARY
After our practice in drafting and designing, our supervisor finally gave us a project in located in
Samploc Manila. A 3.3m x 15m lot that will be a Dormitory with commercial area at the ground.
We asked for the spaces required, search for the standard of the spaces needed and analyse the
flow of the users inside. Then came up with the ground floor which is the commercial part

SUMMARY
Since we have the ground floor plan of the dorm we started planning for the second and third
floor. Since we have some documents that needed to be processed in school we came out at the
office at exactly 2:30 pm and decided to continue the project tomorrow.

SUMMARY
The site in San Jose Del Monte Bulacan is takes up to 30 minutes from our office to the site and
we were serviced by the company service Kuya Glenn. We were with the Engineer because he
would want to know the problem in the site. When we arrive there, the first thing we noticed is
the window openings because some of them seemed to be at the wrong placed and improperly
corrected. And the project were almost a month delayed because of the workers that seemed to
be not working because they don’t have anyone who will supervised them.

SUMMARY
I already finished the model and the rendering of the Dormitory and gave it to our Supervisor for
checking and she’s quite impressed because we’ve improved a lot in rendering although it was
not that good but she said that she saw our effort and that made me inspired to learn more.

Today, we made an interior detail of the dorm for a much clearer demonstration of the spaces
and flow of the users. We made a sample of the possible orientation of the bed and the study area
for both users.

SUMMARY
This is our next project, the Camarin 2-storey residence. Ar. Relly told us to design and plan on
our own and present it to her as our last project. We may have a lot of time ahead but it is quite a
huge house with a pool outside. We started researching and sketching for our plans.

Today we started the floor plan of the house. I thought of this house as my dream home so it’s
quite hard for me to design especially Sir Garry sometimes asked us what materials we would
use for that so a lot of research and planning must be done.

As addition to the house, there is a guest house located at the rear part of the house. It is a guest

At the right picture, it shows what we finished today in the Camarin project and at the left side is
the house of the owner of the company Sir Garry. He asked us if we could design his house for
renovation. He said that as much as possible he would want to add or change the façade and not
the entire house.

SUMMARY
Today we went to Dennis House and see what they have finished. While we were in there we
saw many workers on site. It is because the project were delayed and they have to finish it wthin
2-3 weeks. Both the outside and the interior is almost finished but still they have a lot of works to
finished since some of them take a lot of time personally which is the cause of delay.

SUMMARY
Our task for today is to find a sample tiles that will be used in the meeting with the client in LRT
stations Restroom. The picture on the right side shows the blue tiles that we needed to find but
since it is a chine brand, we cannot find it anywhere we stopped by every tiles center that we saw
but they cannot give us the exact tiles we needed. But one of them in TQG hardware told us that
they will have that design by tomorrow.

SUMMARY
We were just doing the camarin house when our Supervisor is not around because of her meeting
with the client and other supplier. Around 2pm, our Supervisor asked us to search for the tiles
that we didn’t found yesterday. Since, the supplier told us that we could go back today so we did
come back then we found the two tiles that we needed and headed back to office.

We were visited by our SIP coordinator, Ar. Dela Cruz and after that we went to the site near our
office, the new office of the company, and we observed and ask the workers in what stage were
they in the construction phase and then we went back to the office and recorded what they
finished and currently doing.

Today is our last day and we felt happy and excited especially when we presented our last
project and we have a good response from Ar. Relly. When we recievd our certificate i felt like
all my efforts for the past few weeks were worth it.
