Topic: SUBSTITUTION OF INGREDIENTS.

Materials: Laptop, TV Monitor, cooking ingredients.

Review: Ask the students about their previous knowledge on ingredient substitution.

Discuss the importance of ingredient substitution in cooking and baking.

Motivation:

Show the students a video of a famous chef demonstrating the use of ingredient substitution in their
recipe.

Ask the students to share their favorite recipe and suggest possible ingredient substitutions.

Activity:

Divide the class into groups and give each group a recipe.
Ask the groups to identify the ingredients that can be substituted without affecting the overall taste and
texture of the dish.

Have the groups present their substituted recipe and explain why they chose those ingredients.
