Divide the class into groups and give each group a recipe.
Ask the groups to identify the ingredients that can be substituted without affecting the overall taste and
texture of the dish.
Have the groups present their substituted recipe and explain why they chose those ingredients.

Discuss the importance of considering the nutritional value of ingredients when substituting.
Ask the students to identify the nutritional value of the substituted ingredient compared to the original
