Pursuant to the provision of Section 5, item (i) of Executive Order No. 124, dated 30 January
1987 authorizing the DPWH to classify roads and highways into national, provincial, city and
barangay roads, the improved gap portion of Arteche-Jipapad-Las Navas-Rawis (converted
into a national road thru Department Order No. 41, series of 1999) from KO981+(-688) to
K0985+961 (Baran,gay 1 to Barangay 4, Jipapad, Eastern Samar), with a length of L=5.598
kin, is hereby integrated into the national road network and included in the RBIA under the
jurisdiction of Eastern Samar District Engineering Office (DEO), Region VIII.
