A. Preliminary Activity
1. Prayer

4. Checking the attendance

B. Motivation
The teacher will post a question in the class and after that, the class will answer if they
disagree or agree and explain it.
Topic: Using of phone in school.
Question: Are using of phone are essential in school? Why or why not?
C. Lesson proper
Argumentative text
The “argumentative text” refers to text that takes a position about an idea or topic. The
position can be for or against an idea, and the author of the text will support his or her
position with extensive evidence.
Examples
Malacañang told mayors to follow the priority list for the coronavirus disease 2019
(Covid-19) vaccination.
Agree Disagree
Mayors should not skip the COVID-19 Mayors should also be prioritized for
vaccine line since they are not on the vaccination, so they could influence their
priority list. constituents to get vaccinated as well.

Group Activity
Strategy: Face to Face
The teacher will give a social issue, and after that, the class will be divided into two
groups and choose which side they are going to stand on in the issue that the teacher
will give.
Topic: Integrating different electronics or gadgets in learning rather than books.
Question: What is the most reliable source of information book or internet?

Good point of view- 5 pts
Proper usage of evidences- 5 pts
Persuasive- 5pts
Unity- 5 pts
Total- 20 pts
