A. Why do you think it is important to observe FOR and TO in addressing

the receiver of the memorandum?

Answer: It’s important to address the receiver pf the memorandum to easily

target those who will be inform in the said announcement or information. It
will easy for the reader to know whom are the target of the memorandum.

B. What will happen if the top management of a business entity does not
know how to write a memorandum?

Answer: Its important to have an ability to write a memorandum to easily

address and disseminate the information to every entity pf the company and
also to its stakeholder. If the company management is not well or hasn’t and
ability to make a memorandum, she/he will not be credible to manage a
company because its one important document for the management to do.
Memorandum is not only for addressing and disseminating information but also
to address different issue in a company.

C. What are the difference and similarities of business letters and

memorandum?

Answer: The similarity of this two are they both spread information and give
a message to its receiver. And also, it’s a formal way of business management
to inform its entity and its stakeholders. The different between those two
documents are the process of disseminating the information and also the
recipient. Memorandum talks or spread the message in general way or in more
audience that the business letter. The business letter spread out information
into a specific entity of the business management.
D. Write a sample memorandum related to your field particularly on face
to face class. Follow the memo checklist on page 91 of your book.
