and knowledge. Listening fosters trust, respect, and openness to give empathy for your
listener and give favor to them.

One of the techniques of communication is meeting. Meetings are done for good
communication techniques and one of the keys to communicate leaders to subordinates.
Effective meetings consider the following like obtain written agenda in advance, review the
attendee list, manage the meeting by the clock, use the "parking lot" to manage off-topic
discussions, prewire important points and decisions and take notes for yourself. During the
meetings, leaders should be ready on the situation to uninformed members, uncooperative
and sometimes unresolved conflicts between members. Leader should be flexible and take
more patience in that kind of situation and have the check and balance skills, it needs to
reflect and assist everyone and maybe ask the person who is involved in the situation because
the power of listening skills is the art of effective communication. With the absence of
listening, messages are easily misunderstood. The possible results are communication breaks
down and the sender of the message can easily become failure or frustrated.

Many successful leaders credit their success to effective listening skills and it creates
positive human relationships and it is also called building blocks of success. Negotiation
skills are also needed which is called bargaining (give and take) and it is required to negotiate
superior deals in both the organization and personal life. The main concern of negotiating is
achieving the win-win both sides that can claim victory and both parties are satisfied. It
shows self-awareness, self-regulation, and relationship management. And sometimes it has a
little bit risks in both parties that's why in negotiating, the manager or leader should not be
the first to make an offer. Aside from this, leaders/managers should be aware of the members
or customer's feedback and be sensitive to the entire organizations feedback because it serves
as the breakfast for champions to improve and enhance the organization. It is the process
where managers can use to evaluate how effective their teams, meet the stated goals at the
end of a production process.
