Good Morning!

The Grade 8 class of 2023, represented by talented students from the Hybrid and the Full Online class, will present their
Project Based Learning output with emphasis on creang a “Good Works” project involving the local communies
surrounding Learning Links Academy.

The journey started one fine day back in March, where our students visited Brgy. Molinete, a community that was given
the right support and knowledge to create a self-sustaining system of community living. [Ali Villanueva] will give us a
short but colorful descripon…

As we further conceptualize the class PBL, our students underwent several lectures and team discussions to formulate
the plans, including a trip to our very own Brgy. Tibig community center, where the local government welcomed our
students and gave them the opportunity to interact with the people, as discussed by [Caleb Fabros]…

As the PBL further evolved, our Grade 8 gradually constructed a plan based on the problem that they wanted to
specifically target: the lack of a local market that the people of Tibig can go to on a regular basis. This was the chosen
problem, out of a plethora of concerns that the students discovered through their interacons, thus the
conceptualizaon of the TIBIG WEEKEND EXPO was born. This will be discussed by [Jassy Rabacal]…

As the TWE planning and structure creaon is being organized, the students tackle the next stage of the PBL: the
prototype. The class chose to do a Rummage sale to act as the catalyst towards the proposed TWE event. The class has
been divided into teams that will tackle specific tasks:

[David Lontok] will discuss the Market team’s task…

[Kyle Lontok and Louis Zaide] will discuss the Online Teams’ dues, including online markeng, digital posters and using
the metaverse…
and finally, [Levi Yacas] will discuss the different tasks of the Finance team…

As we accomplished the Rummage sale last June 6, our class started to analyze and evaluate the acvity, to be explained
by the Overall PBL leader, Jada Fajardo…

We, the Grade 8 class of 2023, would like to thank your full support and trust. To the parents of the Grade 8:
congratulaons on having raised and educated students who have shown the merits of being leaders willing to stand up
and create a humane society thru community works. May your children connue this path as they move on to greater
challenges, in the academe and in the real world.

Thank you and have a blessed day!
