Guidelines for Writing a Practicum Report DEEE, IUBAT

Practicum report must be related to student’s practical field works. Avoid irrelevant and
unnecessary theories in the body of your report. Department of Electrical and Electronic
(DEEE), IUBAT suggests that students should follow the following criteria during writing a
practicum report:

 Paper size: A4 is preferred

 Report Title: 18 point bold, Times new roman
 Chapter title: 16 point bold, Times new roman
 Subtitle: 14 point bold, Times new roman
 Sub-subtitle: 12 point bold, Italic, Times new roman
 Text: 12 point, Justify, Times new roman
 Figure caption: 12 point, placing bottom of the figure Center, Times new roman (as shown
in page 5)
 Table caption: 12 point, placing top of the table Center, Times new roman (as shown in page
5)
 Line Spacing: Minimum line to line 1.5
 Between subtitles and sub-subtitles 1 line gap, and between sub-subtitles or sub-subtitles
and text one line gap
 Try to keep size of the report within 60 pages
 Page numbers will be bottom, Center of pages

 Referencing in the body of the report

Insulator is a substance or device that does not readily conduct electricity [1]. This is used for many
purposes in the electrical and electronic systems. Wikipedia site must not be a reference because it is not a
stable resource site.
