    The 4074 fin Condenser tubes installed in York Chiller 02 Model OM TITAN 3150TR, located at King Faisal
    University, Campus Al Hasa – KSA.

    Chiller No. 02 Tube Details

    Eddy Current Test (ECT) was carried out on above mentioned Chiller on 19th April 2021 – 20th
    April 2021. The ECT was conducted using MS 5800 with four channel multi-frequency
    techniques in which differential and absolute signals were adjusted in accordance with the
    ASME Code Section V, Article 8, Appendix 2, latest edition. Additionally, another channel was
    adjusted in an absolute mode to primary detect dimensional changes such as wall thinning,
    freeze bulges, saddle damage, etc. A fourth channel used special MIX Channel compensating
    type coils to primarily detect defects under baffle plate. Pertinent test findings and comments
    are summarized as follows.
