The purpose of this technical evaluation is to provide a technical summary of the bids reviewed
against the requirements of the Enquiry Requisition R-1910-0318 and to make a recommendation
for purchase of the equipment listed below:

6. SPECIFIC COMMENTS TO EACH TECHNICAL BID (TECHNICAL DISCUSSION)

6.1 DAEKYUNG MACHINERY (Ref Quote Q2007-08-303, dated 9 th August 2007 &
Correspondence summary as above)

6.1.1 The Vendor states compliance with all requirements of TRF Requisition R-1910-0318
with the exception of paragraphs 6.1.2. , 6.1.3. and 6.1.4. below.

6.1.2 Vendor supplied preliminary fabrication schedule, however, documentation dates

need to be finalized before order placement.

6.1.3 Vendor has not considered the local authorities regulations and requirements, PMT to
approve this deviation.

6.1.4 Vendor to provide for two (2) Penberthy Model 2” Eductors in 304ss for item V-52273
before order placement.

6.2 ZAMIL STEEL., (Ref Quote SP/07/0782/00/A dated 6th August 2007& Correspondence
summary as above)

6.2.1 Vendor states compliance with all the requirements of TRF Requisition R-1910-0318,
with the exceptions stated below in paragraphs 6.2.2.

6.2.2 Pickling (Acid Cleaning) and passivating of any stainless steel.

7. QA REVIEW
Vendors confirm compliance with Project Procedure 500-00Z-0024 “QA/QC Requirements
for Suppliers”.

8. HSE REVIEW
Vendors confirm compliance with Project Procedure 500-30Z-0005 “HSE Instructions to
Vendors and subcontractors”.

9. TECHNICAL RECOMMENDATION

Based on all of above described and additional information shown on attached technical
tabulation, we technically recommend the following proposals:

10. OUTSTANDING TECHNICAL MATTERS

10.1 DAEKYUNG MACHINERY

- Vendor supplied a preliminary fabrication schedule and documentation submittal dates

however these need to be finalized (firmed –up) before order placement.

- Vendor has not considered the local authorities regulations and requirements, PMT to
approve this deviation.

- Vendor to provide for two (2) Penberthy Model 2” Eductors in 304ss for item V-52273
before order placement.

10.2 ZAMIL STEEL.

- Vendor to include for the Pickling (Acid Cleaning) and passivating of any stainless steel
fabrication prior to any order placement.
