In a paragraph form write your expectations with minimum of 300 words for this 2 nd
Semester of the S/Y 2022-2023 in Clinical Practicum CP PHC 2.

-During a practicum, as a students' our primary task is observe and document. While we will
participate in the work in a limited way under the supervision of practitioners and professors,
we should treat the practicum as an observational learning experience first and foremost.
I do expect that our clinical instructor Have passion for the student to learn Listen and
respond to student concerns. Care not only about academics but also about students as
people. Realize that students have a life outside of class and not make unreasonable
demands on them, and I’m hoping that clinical instructors demonstrate commitment, internal
motivation, problem solving skills, flexibility and creativity, time management, leadership
and management, accessibility, lifelong learning, morality, and up-to-date knowledge and
skills to us. By this experience, we can gain real-world experience and learn how to apply
midwifery theory concepts into a valuable hands-on environment. Clinical experience plays
an enormous role in our education and preparing us students to interact with real patients
and build on the knowledge gained through labs and course work, and I’m preparing myself
to this upcoming semester physically, mentally, and especially financially.
I know that this will be very difficult semester to us but this is also a very good learning
experience to become a professional licensed midwife in the future.
